Lovely large house great location

Great place to stay.
Very comfortable house, well-equipped kitchen and great location. Some beautiful crockery and furnishings to a very high standard and lovely bedspreads. Great having 2 bathrooms and a shower room downstairs. The sound of the waterfall outside the house was amazing. A short walk and you could be amongst the cows and sheep in the fields looking up to the peak of Wansfell Pike.
The house is very close to a small housing estate and is semi-detached, which we hadn't realised. But actually we got used to it and it was fine.

We had wonderful weather and a great time in this fabulous place.
Lovely house near to the village but quiet. Great for 6 people. Very well equipped.
Garden chairs need coating as they are rusty. The visitors book had some comments about the mattresses which now have toppers on. The topper on the main bed was rather lumpy but it didn’t bother us.
