Papakea K402 is a 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom condo with welcoming tropical hues that greet you the moment you walk in. Beautifully furnished and decorated, K402 can accommodate up to 8 guests. The unit includes a split AC system and ceiling fans to stay cool after a long day in the sun. Modern furnishings, Maui-inspired designs, and artwork throughout the condo transport you to the perfect beachy abode where you can instantly unwind. Enjoy stunning ocean views, poolside relaxation, gorgeous tropical grounds, and other amenities! The private lanai is a great place to relax, entertain, and dine in Maui-style! In the evenings, you'll be privy to Maui's epic sunsets over the Pacific.
Step through the sliding glass doors and find an open-concept living area featuring tile floors and vaulted ceilings. Relax and unwind on the comfortable couch, and enjoy the upscale furniture including a one of a kind resin top coffee table commissioned from local artist Cathleen McCandless. Watch your favorite show on the SmartTV, or whip up something (try a poke bowl) in the updated kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and counter seating for 3. You can also find additional seating for 6 in the dining area. Under the stairway, there is a nook with an under-the-sea mural painted by local artist Jordan Keahi. You'll look forward to laying your head down at night in the master bedroom of your dreams. This luxurious space boasts vaulted ceilings, a California king-size bed, ocean views, and a flat-screen TV. Enjoy a moment of solitude in the rocking chair overlooking the ocean views! Down the hallway, you'll find the convenient washer and dryer as well as a guest bedroom and bathroom. A comfortable queen-size bed with plenty of closet space, a ceiling fan, and a TV. Upstairs is the 3rd loft bedroom which includes two twin-size beds, a TV, and its own half bathroom. The perfect setup for larger groups traveling together! The loft is accented with fun under the sea creatures - see if you can find them all! All mattresses and box springs were replaced in November 2022.

- Papakea Resort is performing a property-wide extensive plumbing project and you may hear some noise during this time. Work in this unit will begin January 6th, 2026, with an estimated completion projected on or around February 9th, 2026.
- Standard work hours for this project will be from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday unless authorized for weekend work.
- Contractors will be present on the property to begin quieter preparatory tasks as early as 7:00 AM.
- To minimize possible disruption, louder tasks will not start before 10:00 AM.
- Dates are subject to change. Not all units will be affected at the same time.
- We have been notified that the project is pending completion around June 2026. We have decreased rates during these dates to compensate for any inconvenience. ***

- Construction will tentatively start November 2025 and expected to continue for approximately eight months.
- Work will begin on the ocean-facing side.

It is located just North of the famous Ka'anapali Beach. Walk to nearby local shops, cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores. It is a quick drive to Whalers Village and many of Maui's top beaches like Kaanapali, Napili Bay, and Kapalua Bay. Parking is free for one vehicle; additional vehicles are $5/day. This fee is collected by the Resort's Front Desk staff upon arrival.

The grounds are fantastic, scenic, location can't be beat; it's apparent the the grounds keepers are hard at work all day long and all staff are pleasant and helpful! The individual unit is nice, but needs better cleaning & care. The non- negotiable 4pm check in to allow for cleaning to be scheduled weeks in advanced & cleaning fee was a rip-off and insult when we arrived at 4pm to find the door open and people inside cleaning. They left 5-10 minutes after our check-in, but we immediatealy wondered if they didn't finish or typically do an inadequate job. The kitchen floor was sticky to walk on (we cleaned with wet paper towels as that was what was on hand), the refrigerator door was covered in handprints, the floor was overall not clean and our feet were discolored every day just from walking around inside. We found visibly soiled dishes in the cabinets and knife block so we washed many of the dishes ourselves prior to using them. AND THE ROACHES! Roach traps thoughout, and roach spray under the kitchen sinks...keep all food in the fridge or microwave for storage! The problem isn't new...we can see in the house journal where prior tenants have commented and called to report this resulting in more roach traps and bug spray. I called Perfect Stays on my check out day to report this again by voicemail, never got a call back, so I alerted the front desk also to try to limit the spread. The beach and laundry supplies were quite helpful, we loved the mural and artwork

The unit was EXTREMELY dated and very-well worn / used. There were two wall outlets that when you went to plug something in the socket was so well used or damaged that the plug wouldn't stay in. The closet in the loft bedroom had locks on it that over time had been taken off and re-positioned. Kitchen cabinet doors where the hinge was coming out of the frame. The main bathroom sink and shower were so plugged up that it took 10 minutes for the water to drain. The washer / dryer unit looked like it was out of the '60's and quite banged up.We loved the floor plan, the location within the complex, the cleanliness, the welcome kit but the owners of this unit need to step up and put some of the money they're getting from renting it out and put it back into the product. We all said we would stay at that complex again but never at K402 again.
