You'll enjoy Papakea Resort A101-A102's amazing oceanfront location and the beauty of Maui from virtually every room! This lovely and unique 2-unit corner property was converted into one large 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo with over 1,300 square feet and a split air conditioning system. Boasting 450 more square feet than Papakea's typical 2-bedroom rentals, this spacious condo offers some of the best views from Papakea Resort that is suitable to accommodate up to 8 guests. This west-facing condo will provide unobstructed oceanfront seats to Maui's incredible sunsets and views of the majestic islands of Molokai and Lanai. Unwind on your choice of 2 lanai areas, one accessible from the dining area and one accessible from the living area. While relaxing on your private lanais, you'll be able to spot sea turtles and whales breaching during the winter months. Stay oceanfront at this open-concept corner unit, designed specifically for larger gatherings!
Papakea Resort A101-A102 is a ground floor unit featuring a luxurious interior and more! Inside you'll find a relaxed Hawaiian-inspired ground-floor atmosphere with cool tile flooring, tropical-themed furnishings and décor, and plenty of natural light. The kitchen boasts stainless appliances and counter seating for 3 with a dining table for 4. Two comfortable sofas not only have ocean views but converts into a queen-size sofa bed to accommodate additional guests. Pour your favorite drink at the wet bar area that has a mini fridge and wine fridge.
In the master bedroom, you'll enjoy a king-size, bed and a spacious place to rest after a day in the sun. Just around the corner is the master bathroom which includes dual sinks, stone countertops and a walk-in tile surround shower. The guest bedroom also features a king-size bed and access to the main bathroom, featuring a walk-in shower. Pack light! This unit has a washer and dryer for your convenience.
*** Papakea is currently undergoing a property-wide plumbing renovation. This condo has already completed the repair, however, please note the information below:
- Standard work hours for this project will be from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday unless authorized for weekend work.
- Contractors will be present on the property to begin quieter preparatory tasks as early as 7:00 AM.
- To minimize possible disruption, louder tasks will not start before 10:00 AM.
- Dates are subject to change. Not all units will be affected at the same time.
We have been notified that the project is pending completion, but not guaranteed by June 2026. ***
**Notice of Seawall & Sink Hole repair projects update:
- Seawall repairs will be concentrated in front of the A, L and F buildings.

It is located just North of the famous Ka'anapali Beach. Walk to nearby local shops, cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores. It is a quick drive to Whalers Village and many of Maui's top beaches like Kaanapali, Napili Bay, and Kapalua Bay. Parking is free for one vehicle; additional vehicles are $5/day. This fee is collected by the Resort's Front Desk staff upon arrival.

Only problem was no AC or ventilation in bedrooms. Had to leave BR door open to get AC from the living room which meant late sleepers had to hear early risers.

I have stayed in Papakea Resort twice now and it’s honestly the best. The grounds are well maintained, the units we’ve chosen are beautiful, the location is amazing for families, it’s quiet but just enough to keep you busy, everything you’ll need is basically a walk or run away and your favorites are a 10 minute drive. Whoever is putting off their trip due to the fires that occurred last year- you can visit the island without disruption. Just be respectful to the locals as it is still in the phases of the clean up process. Aside from that Maui is still my favorite place to visit when we can go and if you’re looking for a cozy place to call home for your stay choose this resort.

The location of this unit is amazing with beautiful views and a very convenient unit for family and kids. However, the place is outdated and the owners should definitely give it a face lift. We had multiple friends stay in other units at the Papakea which were a lot more updated and modern and offered a much nicer, cozier setting. This unit, although big. feels almost like 2 separate places vs feeling like a cozy large 2 bed.
