Azaliya Hostel

The location is perfect to visit all the tourist sites, inter city busses right next to the hostel so if you want to explore the whole city, you can do so. The place is very clean, hygienic, well-maintained and safe. The owner is easy to contact and available to help and advise (tips about moving around the city). Full functioning kitchen, WiFi connection, bathrooms and A/C.

Nice aesthetic. Good rooftop. Has a kitchen.

Little bit of a walk from some of the more central sights. Kitchen not always clean but that’s probably more the fault of the guests. Also someone stole my shoes from the front area but also not the fault of the hostel, but maybe keep your shoes with you.

AC didn’t work, not all lockers have keys

Average place. Very difficult to get to. Cabs might drop you off but no cab wanted to come for pickup since the roads are really bad there. Lots of construction material right at entrance, room has no ventilation or windows and the bathroom is inside the room which makes it even worse. I did meet some lovely people there, other than that did not like my stay.
