One idiot ruined our stay...

This is a very difficult review for me to write. Donatella, the owner, was great about communicating with us, and was a godsend the following morning when we needed her assistance urgently. The apartment itself was clean and tidy, the bed comfortable, and it was nice to have AC during the heatwave Italy is experiencing. The owners left a bottle of wine and the ingredients to make a pasta when we came in, for the reasonable price of 15 euros, as well as other refreshments. This review would have been a very good review, if it hadn't been for the fact that our car was burglarized. Therefore, I cannot give the good review I'd have done otherwise. Readers should take that into consideration when seeing this review. We felt secure in the apartment - a gated entrance, with a second locking door before arriving at the apartment itself. But the street was obviously not a safe place to park, in spite of having streetlights and a small store across from where we parked. I cannot stress enough how helpful the owner of the apartment was when we called her about the burglary. She responded immediately and went to the police department with my husband in case translation was necessary. We appreciate her help, and we are sorry this review is not as positive as it would have been, had this misfortune not occurred.

Our car was burglarized on the street outside. This could have happened to anyone, anywhere, I suppose, but because it happened to us, there, we will not stay again.

A "home away from home" - Wonderful relaxing respite after a busy day of walking and sightseeing.

The location is central making it easy to walk to everything - many interesting museums, a beautiful Cathedral (Duomo), many piazzas, a performance hall, there was even a street festival at the time we visited. Staff was extremely accommodating as we did not have our own transportation, and were available 24/7 IF needed, which they weren't. The apartment is spacious and very clean, provides all amenities of home. Mini fridge provided complimentary water and for a minimal fee a mix of beverages which is very helpful when you don't want to run out to a store or are only staying for a short period of time and can't buy bulk. The balcony patio was absolutely wonderful! After a day of walking and sight-seeing, it was wonderful to sit back outside, light a candle, and enjoy an evening to reflect upon the days experiences. Pizza, pastry and more are just a short walk in any direction.

Beautiful, large and spacious. Lovely private balcony / courtyard and owner had put a lot of effort into providing as many facilities as possible including food, a variety of wine and even pasta to cook! Donatella was very responsive with any questions we had - replying to texts immediately at any time.

Just needed air conditioning or a fan as we were there in the middle of summer and the heat is too much to bear without. Otherwise we would have considered this the best place we’d stayed in Italy!

Très bel appartement, avec beaucoup de charme et d'authenticité. Bien situé à 15 minutes à pied du centre. L'accès est très pratique. Nous n'avons eu aucun mal à trouver des places de parking pendant notre séjour de 3 jours.

Non appena ricevuto la prenotazione nemmeno due secondi sono stato contattato e subito messo l appartamento a disposizione...molto gentili e disponibili, molto pulita e ordinata, arredata davvero con molto gusto... Ti senti in un attimo a casa.davvero i miei complimenti...e la settimana volta che vengo ad Asti e la prima qui.. è posso garantire che per me è il migliore in tutto... COMPLIMENTI DAVVERO A PRESTO.
