The location is close to the old town but a reasonable walk from the train station. The apartment is spacious, there is a small balcony and there is an elevator. It was a nice touch that there were complimentary local wines and basic provisions. Two bathrooms were welcomed.

The process for online checkin was AWFUL. Even though I had received confirmation that I had checked in and I had pre-paid I kept receiving emails asking me to check in. Contact was made directly with the host and an agreement reached about the check in time, but still the automatic emails prevailed. It was unnecessarily complicated. I'm grateful I had my Italian speaking friend with me as we still didn't have the access codes when we arrived at the apartment after the agreed time. I travel a great deal for work and people often ask why I stay in hotels instead of apartments...THIS is why...had I been alone at night and with no access codes I would have felt very vulnerable. The wifi was slow and kept dropping out which meant I had to hotspot for keeping up to date with my work. The apartment and apartment building are nothing special but it is close to the old town. We met the cleaning crew at 9:57am on the day of departure (10am is checkout) so we were able to give them some advice as to where there needed to be some attention to the cleaning. The ironing board and iron was welcome and the ironing board is at a great height for the task! If you are stying here just as a place to sleep then it is a good option and my friend tells me the price point was good for the season and for two nights.
