Decent for a few nights

Easy, small, cheap. Kettle in room and TV.

Shower wasn't great and bed neither. But for the price, solo traveller, it's decent enough for a few nights :)

Interrupted by knocking staff during stay and promised facilities denied.

I genuinely do not have a good thing to say other than it was clean and decent room

Where do I begin? First of all man came knocking on door for maintenance to fix door handle now mind you I didn't check in until like 6.30pm so could have been done earlier in the day. Second there was loud banging randomly all night sounded like someone banging on pipes. Tv does not work and also luggage storage facilities are none existent even though it says so on booking and I had contacted the property before my stay to confirm that I would be able to leave bags when I check out as I was not leaving dublin for a few hours. Was told that it was no problem and would be provided then it was refused to me in the morning and I had to lug bags around dublin and pay to have it stored elsewhere. ALSO before check out I was practically shoo'd away, receptionist came knocking on door to 'remind' me of 11am check out like 20mins beforehand. Absolutely disgusting treatment I got at this place. People say you get what you payed for but that is not true because I have payed same price for other places in dublin before and they were lovely places. I will never stay at an establishment like this again.

Affordable stay, very close to the centre, very clean.

Room was quite small and only got 1 bed instead of 2, TV is very old and outdated, toilet is a fair walk away from the room and has quite a loud ventilator, nothing major.

There was very little to like

The property was in a very finish position with drug and alcohol abuse in area. The road was very busy day and night. There was homelessness and people fighting outside the property not safe to walk out at night.

Really bad value for money I felt robbed.

The receptionist was the only staff member I met she was very friendly and extremely helpful.Thats the only thing I liked. She actually was doing cleaning duties on top of trying to manage a reception desk. With the price they charge, I'm sure they can afford some help for her. 251.O0 Euro for a box room, which was actually disgusting

Where do I start? The noise children screaming in the hallway, listening to every conversation outside my window. Shared bathroom, which wasn't mentioned when I booked. The room was dated and dirty, there wasn't a wardrobe and only one hanger and two hooks on the wall to hang clothes and you couldn't have a good stretch without touching a wall. Overall, it was the worst hotel experience I've ever had except for the receptionist, who was a beautiful person. I felt robbed. I definitely won't be back or recommending thís dump to anyone. The place should be demolished and re built.

There was a shared bathroom which wasn't clean. Toilet paper all over the floor and bin was full. Bedroom was tiny. No tea making facilities. Very expensive for such a small room. Street that its on is not safe.

Unsafe location, unsafe dirty room

Staff were friendly and it was a place to sleep... But that is it.

Cleanliness is poor. Bed is on a downward slope, headrush! Room safety poor, such as many broken sharp items around the room. Curtains don't work for window size and style so room is constantly bright. The price is awful when you consider how poor the room quality is and how far away it is from the centre. The area the 'b&b' (with no breakfast) is located is also incredibly unsafe. I usually don't believe poor reviews, but as someone who regularly gives 5/5, this room really is the worst I've ever booked!

It's a building with a tiny reception desk and 3 separate rooms on each floor. You can hear people walking above you. It's fine but I thought it was expensive for what we got. Note: Ireland has a different outlet system than the rest of Europe, our converter worked in Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Poland, didn't work there. When our T.V didn't work b/c the cable box was unplugged and required a convertor, the lady from the front desk came to help, she unplugged my phone (there was a convertor in the room when we arrived to use it for the cable box, she then charged me 5 euros for one! Except for her, the staff was very nice.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS ABUSIVE AND INCREDIBLY RUDE

The lady at reception was very nice

Me and my girlfriend booked the Lyndon Guesthouse for the night before the all ireland final. I had rang and confirmed on Wednesday with them that all was good. So we arrived in dublin at 10 that night only to be told that they made a mistake with the booking and booked us in for Sunday and they had no room left that night. I showed the girl at reception the messages I had confirming the check in and check out day and she was very nice and apologised profusely. She then gave me the manager’s number he was incredibly rude first of all denied it tried to tell me I made a mistake then when he saw the messages he started using foul and abusive language. I then told him I would leave but I wanted my money back he offered to change my room for another night but that was no good to me at that stage under no circumstances would he give me back the money. This went on for about an hour he was was incredibly rude during all this. So for a finish I filed a police report about him they said there was nothing they could do as it was a civil matter and advised me to seek help from another government agency of which I am still in the process of. I understand anyone can make a mistake but it’s how rude he was during it and trying to convince me I was wrong. I have attached the proof underneath the sheet of paper is what she showed me as my booking and as you can see in the messages the dates are different.DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES STAY THERE

Drunk homeless migrants all around

Windows were nailed shut, very hot and stuffy. Mobs of threatening homeless african migrants hanging around outside the front and back alleyway drinking alcohol and smoking weed. Unsafe neighbourhood. Television didn't have any working channels. Pillow was thin and uncomfortable. For the price the room was tiny with a single bed only. Shared bathroom shower was powerless and cold.

Lyndon House July 25

Really friendly welcome. Although I couldn't check in earlier than fixed time; they were visibly still cleaning rooms, manager allowed me to use toilet. Then she informed me that I had been upgraded to a double room. Happy days. She clearly explained how to use door codes for getting back at night. Hotel is brilliantly situated. Straight walk to Croke park ( less than 10 minutes) and 5 minutes to O'connell Street. Tea and coffee offered, a nice touch. Excellent value for mid July.

Nothing worth mentioning. I don't really understand bad reviews. Shower unit would need a makeover. But if they refurbish everything, prices will go up.

Dirty and run down. There is mold and mildew throughout the bathroom. The main floor is gapped and curling and catches your feet if bare. We were put in the basement and outside our window was full of rubbish and not cleaned
