Comfy and cosy with great breakfast

Comfy, and the owners had thought of everything. Good breakfast, great shower, and beds were comfy.

The location is on the edge of town so be prepared for a walk along the main road into town and back again for dinner or supplies, but during ski season this probably has its advantages as it’s close to the ski lift.

breakfast is fully purchased from supermarket, all is the same every morning, everything is cold meal. even the toasted bread is cold, from prepackage from supermarket- not prepared there. every morning the same few aliments -not many options. no parking - there is one 100m far away, each time you have to travel with skies on the road between cars, as there is no sidewalks. cold in room, door from balcony was blocked

The room with the warm large jacuzzi was brilliant. The breakfast and cakes prepared by chef Andreas were delicious. Staff were literally available to help 24 hours. We arrived at 1 am and received instructions where to park.

The parking was not easy to access. 100 meters away from the hotel and not easy to find it.

What you see when you book is not what you get

Issue #1: No parking at the property The guests have no access to a parking spot next to the property throughout their stay. There's one hard-to-access parking spot in front of the property which the guests are told upon arrival to use only when they arrive/depart and have to unload/load the luggage. That parking spot is used throughout the day by car of the breakfast/dinner cook. The parking spot is hard to access because it is located right next to the main road and there are some roadside protection elements preventing easy access. Therefore, if you are a fine driver and you have a relatively small car (e.g., I drove a rent Jeep Renegate), you will struggle to park you car next to the cook's car. If you're into skiing, have children and shuttle to the cable car twice a day, you definitely need access to a private parking spot next to the property/room to 1/ load/unload stuff (e.g., boots) and 2/ feel safe by avoiding to walk 150m on the roadside of the main road to the public parking nearby. There were days when the visibility was very limited due to the heavy snow and fog and it made dangerous the short 150m walk on the main road from the public parking to the property, especially if you have children. When you book the property and there is no warning there's no private parking in the description alongside all the overselling attributes of "charming / comfortable / luxurious / sweet / savor". They purposely deceive the unsuspecting prospective customer by advertising "Free parking" in the "Most popular facilities" and "Property highlights" sections of the booking.com page dedicated to the property. That's is a gross misrepresentation of the reality. Issue #2: The property is located 3m-4m away from the main road. Therefore, you'll hear the noise of the cars and inhale polluted air when there's heavy traffic.

Disappointment!

Very Basic, but very good breakfast. Chef Andrea îs a nice person. Good position for going în and out of slopes.

Misleading description of the property. Booked a room with fireplace, guaranteed parking place, soundproof isolation... well în reality is NO TO ALL. Fireplace out of order for 6 months! Parking is 100m away, public parking very busy during the day. În the room you can hear every step of the guests from the above apartament. In 7 days not eaven once bed sheets were change.

Very cousy rooms, nice furnished with a touch of wood and local farming elements. Chef Pietro was very nice, breakfast was excellent, You can choose different types of breakfast (ham, eggs, cheese, croissant, home made sweets, juices, coffe .....). Parking 100m from the property and immediately access to the ski slope. International skiing Valtournenche - Cervinia - Zermat was excellent.

Just add some vegetables for breakfast and will be perfect :)

Penthouse appartment,

The location of leconda 4 is super, short walk to the slopes, longer walk downhill to the Market. The appartment was very pretty, but quite small, Cosy would be a good discription. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and check in, check out was simple.

We stayed in what they call the penthouse appartment, while I am sure the other four rooms are fantastic, the " penthouse" was not very comfortable, perhaps if you were traveling with snow white, there would be no problems. The bedroom was up a narrow steep staricase, and just under the roof. The bed was on the floor, and as I am 5'2 I had to walk in a bent over positon yet still hit my head on the beams. Because this room was just under the roof, it was beside the road, making it noisy as traffic starts very early in the morning. To dress you need to come down stairs as it's impossible to stand upright in this room. Bathroom is also down stairs. The stools in the kitchen are for very tall people, which gives a mixed message. Should I visit Valtourneche again I would book one of the other rooms the penthouse appartment is not very comfortable.

Disappointing

We booked a room with a bathtub. There was a strong unpleasant chlorine smell in the room. The room was evidently not aired after previous use of the bathtub. There were no clear instructions how to operate the bathtub. The whole night there was a strong light coming from the terrace to the room. There were no bathrobes or tea making facilities. The shower in the bathroom was not maintained properly. The location given on the map on booking.com did not correspond with actual location of the house.

Comfortable property, near to ski lifts

The property is in very good location: 5min walking are ski lifts, near - food shops and restaurants, bus stop. Each room has own enterance from outside, available ski room, private sauna in room. Rooms are very cozy, clean and with more space than around usual ski resorts properties have. Breakfast is very good - fresh and tasty. We took a trasfer bus from airport, suggested by property - they were on time and welcoming.

The property is just near the road, that from one side is good - close to ski lifts, but from other - in some rooms you can hear sounds from street.

Good place to stay for skiing in the area.

Within walking distance to ski gondola, easy check in, kitchen. Only 2 parking spots on site but did have free parking very close.

The bedroom was upstairs on steep stairs and a very short roof to where you have to squat. for my wife and I it wasn’t an issue but could be for others.

Totally recommended stay in Valtournenche near the ski lift.

Very clean. Very well decorated combining wood and stone. Breakfast was good and the lady preparing everything was very polite. Location was very good 100m from the slope to the Valtournenche lift. Parking, although sometimes not enough in front of the property, was plenty available 50m away. Pre arrival, and during accommodation communication with Emilie was very detailed and well organized We will try to be back!

Wi-Fi was not very stable. Some small details in the room require better maintenance.

La camera era molto pulita, accogliente e calda. Il personale è stato molto disponibile a qualsiasi richiesta e ha fornito ottimi suggerimenti giornalieri sui vari trekking da fare. Posizione ottima sia per Valtournache che per Cervinia. Vicino c’è un parcheggio gratis molto comodo. Colazione varia ed abbondante, i dolci locali sono ottimi.
