A charming, old apartment with a beautiful authentic interior.
First of all, the apartment was very hard to find. The instructions pointed to the third floor of an almost empty apartment complex. You had to get there through a dark, poorly lit basement. The host couldn’t be reached, and we spent half an hour looking for the door, which turned out to be on the fourth floor. Once inside, it was freezing cold. Not all the radiators were working, and they didn’t have enough capacity to heat the apartment quickly. The staff kept insisting that the radiators were working, but only the two downstairs were functioning, and even those were insufficient. It remained 13(!) degrees for hours because the heating simply didn’t work as it should have. On top of that, it was incredibly dirty: hair in the shower, the kitchen, and on the bathroom walls; a dirty bath mat with stains; dishes left by previous guests; cigarettes on the balcony; floors covered in hair; and towels that smelled bad. We reported it immediately and were told the cleaner would come by. They only replaced the bath mat and cleared the dishes, but the place remained dirty. Because it was simply too cold, we ended up moving the children to a warm place for the evening. As a result, despite the charm of the cottage, it was not a positive experience. A heated apartment and a clean space are the minimum requirements for a pleasant stay—especially in a winter sports area—and in this case the property fell seriously short.
