The Space:
Gilmore House is a charming Victorian property featuring high ceilings and a beautiful pink staircase, seamlessly blended with a newly renovated extension.
Two inviting living spaces downstairs offer options for relaxation or friendly competition in the games room with a pool table, TV, board games, and toys for the kids.
The heart of the home is the spectacular open-plan kitchen, dining, and family room. Bluetooth ceiling speakers set the mood, while skylights and bifold doors bathe the space in natural light and allow you to connect seamlessly with the outdoors.
Prepare a feast in the well-equipped kitchen, featuring a quartz island with an induction hob, perfect for showcasing your culinary skills.
Relax in the secure garden after a day of exploration, or soak in the bubbling hot tub for a truly rejuvenating experience. (The hot tub is available for use from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Five comfortable bedrooms offer a perfect retreat for the whole group. Three bedrooms with en-suites are located upstairs, featuring a super king, a king, and a double bed.
Two additional bedrooms share a newly fitted bathroom with a spacious shower on the ground floor. One doubles as a functional office with a day bed that can be configured as a chaise longue, a single bed, or a double.
All bedrooms except the office have TVs with access to Netflix and Amazon Prime, ensuring entertainment options for all ages.

From booking to arrival, communication was excellent. Lovely gifts left for our Grandchildren who were celebrating their 5 and 21st birthdays. Ione was especially delighted with cheeky birdie,never left her side all weekend. There was also a lovely food hamper.There is so much space and we used it all, especially the sitting/dining kitchen with the bi fold doors, with the wonderful comfy seating on the decking. We made full use of it on arrival, barbecuing early evening as we knew the weather was not to be kind the next day. We all enjoyed the hot tub. We were aged 5-70,10 of us and we could play pool, link up the Nintendo switch in the upstair sun room, played lots of games and watched movies. We did get out for a walk on the Sunday and out for dinner. The kitchen and bathrooms are very well equipped, wipes, tissues, kitchen roll, tinfoil, clingfilm, baking paper, so many pots, pans, serving dishes etc Lots of coffee pods, tea bags, condiments.Tv in every room, and the study worked out great for the wee ones sitting at to draw, and the blinds made them sleep until 9 am. Fans available as it was so hot in the bedrooms, great that the 3 upstair bedrooms are all ensuite. There was a massive box of Lego, and many board games. Enjoyed the decor of the house too

Lovely property. Really big which was great for our family of 10. Place was immaculate. Garden was fab the kids had loads of room to play and the hot tub was a great bonus.. would recommend definitely

The property was amazing. The multi-generational mix worked well for us; at no time did any family member feel cramped for space. There are many rooms in the house. There is a decking area where one can relax and watch little ones have fun playing in the garden. For those who like to cook, there are plenty of kitchen appliances to go on a culinary adventure! We were more than pleasantly surprised to have a generously stacked gift basket set for us on the kitchen unit. That was so kind of our host.
Our host, Louise, was very helpful, always checking to make sure we were okay and all our questions were responded to quickly. No problems there! So all in all, there are no negatives - just positives! We hope to return.
