Air con would be a bonus in the heat of Florence in the summer but fans were provided which helped. The main bedroom looks out onto the street which turned out to be very busy & noisy early mornings with deliveries etc. I can take that for the central location but it might not suit everyone.

Great location and quirky old apartment. Really easy access to the city highlights. And a great restaurant right across the road.
The air conditioning was totally inadequate to deal with the heat (mind you it was 35c during our stay). Only 3 small fans/ac units that couldn’t cool the place. One bedroom is internal with no windows so it became an oven. That was the only downside.
