Close to lots of restaurants, the cathedral and shops and the station which was very helpful. People were nice , lots of maps and stuff to look at. Had air conditioning. Our room was really quite big with a sofa and tv and desk and wardrobe. Bathroom and room were clean. Really great. Would stay here again.

Very nice small hotel conveniently located in the center of Florence. Luciano, Susie, and Alex were very gracious, with assistance in choosing restaurants, sites, and local transportation. Highly recommended!

Great location- 5 minute walk to the train station & 10 minute walk to the Doumo tourist attractions. Hosts are available on site for 24 hours. Quiet & clean. We opted for the Alma room which included a private bathroom & shower. The building is about 400 years old. Napoleon’s sister in law stayed here.

Nicest couple who hosted and welcomed me. It is an old building and dated but it was a clean and spacious room. The bed however was extremely uncomfortable and the air conditioning didn’t work the best. Thankfully it wasn’t too hot at night.

Our host was very informative and shared where to go for meals, best views etc. It was excellently located not too far from the train, an easy walk with luggage. It is a very old building but comfortable. A small lift to help with bags.

Lovely couple who owns the hotel and welcomes you on check-in. Location is convenient, right next to Florence's main train station and within walking distance to all major attractions in the city. Highly recommend staying here

This was an amazing stay with a perfect host. He told us about places to eat, see and even mapped it out for us. The ac worked great, wifi was strong and the bathroom was very spacious. 100% recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bellevue House. We wanted an authentic Italian experience and it was that with great linens, a comfortable bed and a wonderful shower. Everything was spotless and very clean. Our room was spacious, Sophia. The Innkeeper was so kind and helpful. He gave us the names of several family owned/ run restaurants that had delicious food. There is a small, newer elevator that was able to carry my husband and I up to the 4th level (3rd floor) which was a godsend after days spent site seeing. They had daily maid service that kept everything spotless. If we find ourselves in Florence again we will be staying at Bellevue House.

This is an older property. You cannot expect this to be a traditional "hotel", as you would think of in America. The walls are very thin. It was clean. I had everything I needed. It felt safe. The owner was very helpful. I only use the room as a "base", so I need basics and location. Shower and amenities were great. Room was clean.

I booked three rooms at the Bellevue House in December for my adult kids, myself & husband and sister. Communicating with Luciano was so easy! He took such good care of us. Not only by reaching out, but by sending us detailed pictures and info on the building. Bellevue House is an easy walk to the train station. There is a lift, but just to warn you, it’s the slowest lift ever. No joke. There is even a note in the lift stating that due to the history of the building, they had to go by certain protocols. But hey, at least there IS a lift. It is small tho. The 3 rooms were great, clean and comfortable. Good size bathrooms were very nice and clean with nice shampoos and soaps. (No conditioner, but that seems to be an Italian thing along with no wash cloth/face size towels). Luciano gave us some great recommendations for restaurants (loved Osteria la Scala) and told us about the Farmacia di Santa Maria Novella, the oldest pharmacy in Florence, which happened to be across the street. A must visit!! He kindly kept our luggage when we had an early tour. We would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks Luciano!
