The room was large and comfortable and the bathroom was big and modern. The bed was FABULOUS! The location put us into a very 'local' area near Piazza Navona and several nearby cafes and ristorantes. Located on a VERY small street so that our taxi driver dropped us a block away.
Like other old historic hotels and guest houses, there is no elevator. The concrete steps were significantly worn in the center making it a little challenging to carry heavy luggage up the steps. We wanted authentic and we got it. No complaints.

Great location, clean.
Small bathroom, a little tired looking. Caution- night club/ live ban bar across the lane way on weekends with loud music until 12am and loud revellers until atleast 1am. Ear plugs were provided, which was a good give away!

The communication from Diego was excellent, and the self check-in was super easy.
The location is absolutely top tier, in walking distance of historic sites, and many great bars/restaurants.
I didn't come across any staff during my stay which was unusual. The room had its quirks and they could do with updating some of the facilities for the price. The aircon stopped working one night, and the electricity went off one morning (when there was no staff around to fix).

Good location to walk to sites and a nice historic building.
Very loud at night since there's a bar right underneath. Didn't sleep well.
