Modern inside, clean and comfortable

The property is very modern inside, clean and comfortable. There were lots of nice touches and it felt very well cared for. The shower was great. I stayed with my elderly mother and she thought it was wonderful, 5 stars she said.

There weren't really any complaints. I did think there was a bit of disparity between the heat upstairs and down but it wasn't a problem. I didn't want to turn the heat up, but we were a bit colder downstairs. Also and I know it was temporary, the back gate needs fixing as the back felt a bit exposed.

Clean, weii equipped 2 level cottage near Univ of Hull.

Clean, well equipped and decorated, cozy 2 level house.

Trash was left in the trash cans that smelled when we arrived — I don’t think the owner was to blame as it was probably the cleaning service. The owner was very apologetic.

The house was exactly like the pictures, was perfect for us. Really lovely modern design. The whole place was lovely and all the little features made a difference.

The parking wasn’t always the best but hit and miss.

Everything. The house is lovely, everything you could need. Shower was lovely as was the kitchen. Couldn’t fathom out the cooker but text James and his Dad came around and showed me, really quick response. We would definitely stay again. The facilities at the end of the road are great, Sainsburys, restaurants, chemist, everything you need. We went to Beverley, Whitby and The Deep. Highly recommend

Beautiful home away from home

I loved this property for its neutral and cosy interior, modern features like Bosch heated skirting boards, smart lock door, etc. Self check in was super easy. The master bed was very comfy. Though I was in Hull for work, I felt like I'm on vacation in this place. Lots of options for dining out or takeaway too.

Parking off the street is not my preferred option. But this time I was lucky to find a spot.

We liked.... The street was friendly. House was bigger than expected. Good cups for tea. Very nice beds. Beautifully decorated.

Broken door to ensuite. Couldn't find a baking tray.

Nice base for family stay

Very pleasant stay in nice environment…there’s a TV in every room which impressed my 7 year old lol :) Nice house in the student area of hull so plenty of bars; restaurants and takeaways and grocery shops located close by

A really lovely property in a very vibrant area - well worth a look if you’re staying in Hull.

The style and amenities. The location - a really vibrant community based part of Hull. Communication from the owner - really pleasant and helpful guy.

Whilst the overall cleanliness was really good - fresh, clean white linen and towels, hoovered through etc…some of the detail needed looking at. Dirty cutlery, cups and glasses and some staining around the hob with encrusted food and some spillage in the freezer. Non matching cutlery and crockery just slightly reduces the feeling of a stylish stay. Also given it’s a three bedroom stay I’d probably swap out the second sofa in the kitchen which we never used and add instead a wall mounted table and chairs so four people can sit and eat together (although there are plenty of well priced places to eat locally) They are really small notes though in what was a really well appointed space and none of it distracted from a lovely stay.

Excellent overall - good value, comfortable, clean and well equipped.

Property was increadibly well cleaned and maintained, and nicely appointed. All facilities needed for a short stay were readily available.

Minor point - here's a lack of light blocking in the bedrooms due to the roller blinds whcih isn't great for a lie lie in.

Pleasant stay in a lovely house

Location was ideal for exploring Hull by car. Lots of shops, takeaways and restaurants within walking distance. House was amazing. Plenty of space for our family of 5. TVs in each room and good WiFi. Kitchen has everything we needed. Bedrooms were beautiful. Easy to book and James in regular contact.

Downstairs bedroom was a little colder than the rest of the house but slept well and bed was comfortable.

Great house, very modern and clean, in a good location close to the University. Excellent heating and lighting throughout. Modern kitchen and beautiful decor. Superb host. Fantastic wifi. Great facilities. One of the best houses I've ever stayed. Nothing I didn't like, and I definitely recommend it!

Absolutely fabulous house, immaculately clean and helpful/informative host.

House was fabulous. The instructions were superb and easy to follow, keys were easy to obtain from lock box. Location has lots of great shops and lots of buses into town etc. Many little details had been thought of (even things as simple as the wifi code on a little board in the lounge). Has was immaculately clean.

As other people have said the beds were very wobbly. And moved when you went to get in. They felt quite unstable. Missing a few basic things like a dustpan and brush and a washing up bowl.

Really beautiful property all 3 bedrooms are a great size and the 2 bathrooms are very nice. Parking is easy either on road or in a small car park. It was very quiet and easy to get into Hull and very close to the university

Location was great for me, cleanliness was 10/10, decor was 10/10, home from home 👍 Real little gem would definitely use again when in Hull.

The street is a bit ragged but the inside of the property makes up for it by far. I had a good nights sleep so not a complaint but if I could improve something I would add a mattress topper to the beds.

The house was lovely inside with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Modern too.

The double bed in the bedroom with the en suite bathroom squeaked constantly. And didn't feel very sturdy.

Beautiful, fresh, clean and welcoming home!!

The house was in the centre of everything, but tucked away at the end of the road which had no through traffic which made it a little less busy, the interior of the house was simply faultless, every little aspect of the house was just perfect, with attention to detail that made it that little bit extra special, such as fresh towels, shampoo & conditioner and body wash in the bathrooms! we would definitely book to stay again when visiting our family, just perfect!

if I had to mention one thing it would be that although it sleeps 6 there is only one 2 seater sofa in the lounge area (a very comfortable one at that) but maybe a second one instead of the small table would be good!! but understand that this could be a space issue.
