I actually chose this apartment for the kitchen, with it's ancient fireplace and kitchen table (as I was keen to simply 'live like an Italian' for week and do some cooking) and it didn't disappoint. The location close to the old city centre is great, although the hilly streets and stairs to the apartment really gave my legs a workout! I caught taxis to and from the station as it was just a bit far (on cobblestone streets) to be dragging a wheeled bag - the taxis were fast and efficient. The furniture and artwork in the apartment are really gorgeous - that spacious living room, with the windows thrown open, was a lovely place to sit at the end of the day with a glass of wine! So too the bedroom armchair was the place to be in the morning sun. It was a treat to have a bath - my only accommodation on this Italy trip to offer one. I enjoyed Arezzo and my time in this apartment very much.

It would have been nice to meet the host??

Beautiful, spacious, historic building with beautiful furnishings. Extremely well equipped. Very good quality linens. Excellent location. Very quiet and peaceful location.

The beds were extremely firm and the sitting room could be made to feel more homely ( it feels a little bare).

Tutto! Appartamento d’epoca ben curato e pulito. Abbiamo soggiornato in 6 e siamo stati tutti comodi grazie agli ampi spazi; oltre le camere, funzionali anche gli spazi comuni
