The house was lovely and had pretty much everything we could need for a family group of 8. It was spacious and modern.
The only niggle is that The Ullswater Holiday Park where the house is based use Sykes Cottages as an intermediary (as host) in the booking, and they failed to answer any of my messages trying to get clarification about the house facilities such as tea towels and washing up liquid, not did they answer the phone when I tried. Not good for a holiday company. The staff at Ullswater Holiday Park were great, answered the phone and my questions and resolved one minor issue we did have, I really don't know what value Sykes Cottages were adding??

It was clean and a great location. Kids loved playing in the garden. We got to view the fighter jets flying by which was awesome.
Didn’t realise it was part of a holiday park. The farm next door was busy at all times.

Beautiful property, well equipped, plenty of space. Great having artificial grass so even after it rained, the kids could play outside. Fantastic location.
Farm/machinery noise woke us every morning but that is to be expected in that area. Certainly didn't spoil the holiday.
