Stop over with friends.

Great location and lovely little town to wander through and pick up supplies on an overnight stop to Belguim. Directions to apartment were accurate and although no allocated parking - we were able to park two cars pretty nearby. Plenty of space for 8 of us to stay.

The stairs felt very dangerous and not attached properly. Very wobbly and didnt feel securely attached. Beds in one room were comfortable- beds in the other room were very uncomfortable. Appreciate no towels provided but one to dry hands in bathroom would have been nice.

Great space but lacking some comforts.

Loved the town, close to the centre, a fab pizza restaurant, the cultural heart, more restaurants and a grocery shop a short walk away. Not noisy at night.

The front windows either wouldn't open or wouldn't close properly. No air conditioning and no fans. No kettle. No decent size wine or beer glasses. We didn't try to cook.

Good

Upstairs apartment in historic region where owners are working to upscale. New kitchen and luxury shower. Hosts were responsive to questions before and during stay. Fun to be in a historic building with original timber supports in upstairs area.

After-hour key pick-up location was 15 min drive from apartment. Instructions on how to lock front door would have been helpful. Other tips: two sets of steep stairs to get up to bedrooms. Bedrooms and bathroom/kitchen supplies are on the spartan side.

It was good

the structure is well organized kind of like a house and the city is very calm where there isn’t too much noise. overall it was good as I could also park my car in the near surroundings without having to pay. The place is 5 minutes in a car from parc du Louis Bois des forts and a 15mn drive to Dunkirk beach and port

I wasn’t able to have access to the Wi-Fi due to us not being given the Wi-Fi and to the fact that there weren’t any information on how to access it,there was also no assistance regarding the heating and gas so I wasn’t able to turn on the heating and when I called for assistance,no one was able to answer as apparently they weren’t available after 6pm. I would advise to keep contact available until a later time as it would help in case of emergencies where help is required.

L’hôte n’a donné aucune instruction. Il n’y avait pas de serviettes de toilettes et n’a jamais répondu à ma demande.

À refaire et à recommander!

L’emplacement était super! Une boulangerie au pied de l’appartement, proche d’une place avec tout ce qu’il faut à proximité! (Parking, de quoi se restaurer, magasins, à seulement 20 min de Dunkerque,…) Le confort d’avoir une machine à laver et un sèche-linge, un lave-vaisselle ! Il y’a même un billard pour passer une bonne soirée. Les lits sont confortables, la literie est fournie. Le propriétaire est disponible par message. Vraiment une belle découverte autant le village que l’appartement en lui-même. On garde l’adresse sous le coude pour une prochaine fois ! Merci!!

Très peu de choses, je dirais peut-être le congélateur qui ne refroidit/maintient pas super bien les choses glacées mais je pense que c’est un problème dû aux multiples utilisations , du gel s’était formé mais ce n’est pas vraiment ultra gênant en soi.

Nous ne sommes pas restés défaut de chauffage

Le propriétaire nous a prévenu qu’il n’y avait pas de chauffage central à 16h pour une arrivée à 17h. Le logement était sensé être prêt à 15h. Un petit radiateur dans la pièce principale et deux autres dans les chambres qu’il nous a suggéré de descendre. Il faisait 14d(photo du thermostat à l’appui) à notre arrivée . Nous n’avons plus réussi à joindre le propriétaire et avons quitté le logement sans solution à 18h30. Une réclamation a été faite auprès de booking

Emplacement très bien situé, proche des commerces, appartement bien équipé, personnel très sympathique

La déco un peu trop moderne par rapport au style de Bergues (magnifique poutres apparentes qui donnent un cachet rétro, mais les murs sont peints avec des décors très modernes qui tranchent avec le style). Pas de lits deux personnes, dommage pour les couples.
