Fantastic location, virtually on the sea front. The museum and visible shipwrecks are all nearby and accessible by free buses! The apartment was much larger than we expected, easily as big as a small house. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of bed options including a cot. Veronique was extremely helpful and on hand at very short notice (15 mins) when we booked at the last minute. She met us at the property and saved us a parking space nearby.

Lovely welcome, tired apartment

The host was very kind and helpful, and the location is great – just a short walk to the beach promenade. The apartment is well-equipped, with a washing machine (which worked fine), microwave, and fridge – very convenient for a short stay. However, the place is quite worn and really needs maintenance. Several items are rusted or falling apart, like the washing machine lid, toaster, shower frame, and toilet. Humidity seems to be an issue, which likely contributes to this. Parking is free but public, and it can be hard to find a spot nearby, especially in the evening. The host kindly offered her own space if needed, but we couldn’t reach her when we returned late one night. We don’t blame her at all, just mentioning it in case parking is a priority for other guests. Overall, a functional stay thanks to the host, but travelers expecting a fresh, well-kept apartment may be disappointed.

Excellent location and nice apartment

Owner met us at the door with the keys and took time to show us how everything worked. She even recommended places to eat nearby. We arrived (unknowingly) during a big event and parking was nonexistent so she actually saved us a space by the door for when we arrived! The beach is only one block away and easily accessible.

It is on the second floor (3rd floor for Americans) so you do have to walk up some stairs to get there--but it's worth it.

Everything about this property made our trip feel so much better

The apartment was spotless and extremely well equipped! Everything you could possibly want for the stay was available and the host was friendly, Informative and helpful. All facilities were within walking distance and we had a perfect stay here, would 100% recommend and would happily return in the future

The apartment was nice and clean when we arrived. The host was constantly in touch, making sure, that we had everything we need and we found the apartment. And in the morning she dropped croissants to us, which was a nice surprise . And the apartment was pet friendly. My dog just loved the couch which was there :-).

Perfect overnight stay. Comfortable accommodation. Great host.

The property was easy to find with parking options right outside. The location to the beach is great with only a short walk to get onto the front. We arrived earlier than planned but the host was happy to accommodate and early check in. She was very friendly, spoke perfect English and could not have been more helpful. We only stayed one night as we were passing through before heading back to the UK. There was a particularly nice touch with fresh croissants left outside the apartment door ready for breakfast. We would not hesitate to stay again and would recommend to others.

Great little apartments in a good location, a couple of minutes walk from the beach, restaurants etc

Great little apartments in a good location, a couple of minutes walk from the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. We stayed in both the first floor and top floor apartments on separate nights. Both are very good, simple chic decor with everything we needed and very comfortable. Parking was easy on the street just in front of the apartments. There were two of us, but both apartments would be perfectly good for four, with a large sofa bed available in the lounge. The top floor maisonette, on two floors, is the nicest decor, but we preferred the first floor because it was all on one level - and avoiding low beams and steep stairs in the middle of the night for the loo is important at a certain age! Didn't really affect us, but for information, the top floor has a dishwasher and freezer compartment in the fridge which are not in the first floor apartment. Veronique was a great host, good communication throughout. The croissants at the door in the morning were a nice touch!

Cutlery could do with an upgrade and the coffee machine in the top floor apartment needs replacing (it took forever to drip through!). But these are very minor issues, did not seriously affect our stay.

A lovely apartment and helpful owner

The owner, Veronique was fantastic. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We had a 4 hour delay leaving the UK, which meant we didn't arrive until late evening. Veronique still took time to come over and welcome us and show us the apartment. She even provided breakfast for us, which we did not expect.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The apartment was spacious and in a great location near to the beach,restaurants and just a short walk to the local ships. Veronique was so king and informative and made you feel so at home. Every morning Veronique brought us fresh baguettes and croissants which we used as provisions for our long walks on the one of if not the cleanest beach we have been on in years. We will definitely return.

Coming home as the local met you with a smile and pleasent greeting where ever you went.
