Afaf is truly a wonderful host! She warmly welcomed us on the day we arrived, the jam and bakery she recommended were all delicious! The decor in the house is amazing and with the view in the terrace, The bed is very comfortable, so does the two head shower. Me and mom loved everything!

Excellent accommodation in the heart of Giverny

Excellent accommodation, very well equipped, comfortable, clean. Well located and good parking avaiable on the premises. Afaf met us and showed us the apartment. Breakfast items provided which were much appreciated. Nice terrace, very convenient with A/C in the bedroom since it was very hot. Highly recommended!

There was nothing to complain about. Couldn’t be better. Bakery just across the street, several restaurans within walking distance.

Perfect place to stay

Absolutely beautiful apartment with a wonderful balcony and a view that looks like a Monet painting. The hostess is friendly and helpful. Everything about the apartment and stay excelled. Location within easy, pleasant walk of Monet home, impressionist museum,restaurants. Excellent bakery right across the street

A dream stay

The location of the Orpheus Lodge was perfect, located right on Rue Claude Monet, with all the attractions and the lovely bakery right at our doorstep. The freshly renovated lodge was fitted out beautifully, with everything a guest could possibly want or need. It was cozy and also luxurious. The clawfoot bathtub in the bedroom was a real treat. Afaf & Alan, the owners, were very nice, friendly & helpful, there to provide anything a guest may want or need. Anyone travelling to Giverny, should choose The Orpheus Lodge as their perfect accommodation for their stay 👍

Perfect in every way

Everything about Orpheus Lodge is perfect! We only stayed one night on our way back to Paris to catch our plane home. We wish we’d planned more time there. It is a very short walk to the garden as well as restaurants, shops, galleries and other amenities. The owners were warm and welcoming. Madame speaks excellent English but was good natured about my pitiful attempts to speak French. The suite was well stocked with everything (and more) needed for breakfast. We arrived at 4 having skipped lunch and our restaurant reservation wasn’t until 7 so we were able to put together a light snack to tide us over. Our hosts recommended a charming restaurant for dinner less than a block away and helped us make the reservation. The pictures do not do justice to the suite itself. It is beautifully decorated, the bedding is so great that I asked Madame where she bought the sheets. On our next trip we are going to track them down and ship them home. I can’t say enough good things about Orpheus Lodge and our hosts.

Le logement correspond parfaitement à sa description, les petites attentions d'Alaf (un grand merci) font que l'on se sent chaleureusement accueilli, la poésie de Giverny fait ensuite le reste... (Pensez à réserver des billets coupe-file pour éviter trop d'attente à la maison de Monet ainsi qu'au musée des Impressionnismes)

Alles was geweldig hier, mooie plaats, fijne douche en bad. Mooi en smaakvol met een compleet ingerichte keuken en thee, koffie en wat lekkers. Ook wat spulletjes in de koelkast voor op brood. Midden in het hart van Giverny. 💜

Het enige was het licht in de toilet wat s nachts aangaat. Ben 3x klaar wakker...en de gordijnen kunnen wat beter dicht met magneet wellicht. Ik ben zelf erg licht gevoelig met slapen, nu overal licht kiertjes als de zon omkomt
