Seaspray at Blackhouse Bothies is in a wonderful peaceful location, sitting perfectly in the landscape. It is thoughtfully and cleverly equipped, maximising the space and creating comfort and calm. The views of the loch are wide and constantly changing, along with the weather. Joanne is helpful, informative and very welcoming. We very much hope to return. The Bothies are well located for both Harris and Lewis.

The bothie is very clean and cosy loved the wood stove and it was overlooking a beautiful lough and mountains. Very peaceful no light pollution only the sounds of nature. Joanne was a super informative responsive host and kept us well stocked with firewood.
Nothing the cooking facilities were adequate but a microwave would certainly help when self catering.

It was a beautiful set up with magnificent views. The enormous bed was very comfortable and I very much enjoyed the wood burner stove.
The lighting was annoying, for someone who pees in the night, you really don’t want automatic illumination when you’re half asleep. No lamp option either. Cold floor, wish I’d bought my slippers, even with the fire going.
