Kintarvie Hideaway

A secluded location with easy access to Lewis and Harris. The space was very clean and cosy. The Wifi was great, I had an online meeting during my stay and there were no connection problems at all. The dog enjoyed romping around Aline community woodland on a couple of minutes away. There wasn't space for an oven in the kitchen but I was delighted to find an airfryer with instructions, never used one before but it was very straightforward. The hosts were friendly and communicative. The garden is enclosed with a secure fence so it was reassuring to be able to let my dog roam about outside (very small dogs might squeeze under the gate though).

The cottage is very cosy but on hot days the cottage could be a bit stuffy (not many hot days in the Hebrides though, I was just lucky with the weather!) and the only window that opens is the small one in the bathroom. Some instructions for what can go in the recycling bins would be a useful addition to the welcome pack (I looked it up online instead.)

Clean, tidy, cosy. Ideal for two adults and two dogs. Great base for day trips out to cover all Harris and Lewis have to offer.

Everything! Outstanding accommodation, stunning location, helpful host. Can't recommend this little sanctuary highly enough.

Signage a little challenging to spot driving along. Other than that, perfection.

Friendly, cozy, quiet, and clean. It was nice to be there, I would even stay there long-term.
