Great location near Palace and Pont D’Avignon; restaurants and shops. Good facilities in Apartment fridge, dish washer, cooking.

Bed low down and a little near to wall. Initially difficult to find route from Car Park, 12 min walk with cases along cobbles .

What a fabulous flat!!! Not only was it decorated with such whimsy & impeccable taste…..the location is spot on!! It is right in the middle of everything within the walls of Avignon. Restaurants…..cafes….theatres…..it was magical and perfect! And we were surprised with a lovely bottle of wine chilled for us upon arrival 😊 We rented a car and drove to Les Baux de Provence one day and to Gordes/Roussillon another and the location was so convenient for exploring! Our host Didier offered so many suggestions for things to see and do and restaurants to try…..he was quick to respond when we needed help and I could not recommend this place more! The restaurants within the walls are abundant and fabulous!! If you get the chance to stay at this flat, do not hesitate it has everything you need and you will not be disappointed!

Parking is a bit tricky. To be fair…..we were there during Theatre Festival so it was incredibly busy and we needed to park at the Palais des Papes parking garage…..I’m not sure if you’re able to park within the walls without festival going on. When we left the flat, we were able to bring our vehicle within the walls which made the walk quite a bit shorter and we did not have to drag our luggage over cobblestone streets, but rather we were able to keep it on pavement. That made the process quite a bit easier.

Nice walk to everything worth seeing. Loved the whole area. Coffee maker, shower, and ease of life is very nice here.

DO NOT drive inside the wall. Park as close as possible, outside the wall, and take your luggage to the apartment. The parking and unload task is very cumbersome, but worth it.
