Cité des Papes

We loved the place itself ( great feel to the apartment), The location (super centre het very quiet), the contact with the lovely hosts, the fa t that we could park our bicycles under the staircase, the fact that is was ground floor etc etc

Lo staff ci ha fatto l'upgrade all'appartamento La Balance che avendo 4 letti matrimoniali avevamo quasi un letto a testa e da noi molto apprezzato. Appartamento molto bello, in posizione top essendo nel pieno centro storico, a 5 minuti dal palazzo papale e a tutti i servizi possibili che questa bellissima città offre. Kathy e Saad sono stati gentilissimi consigliando e rimanendo a disposizione. Se dovessi ritornare ad Avignone mi appoggerei sicuramente a loro.

L'unica pecca, che però è veramente marginale e non influenza minimamente l'esperienza stupenda, è stata la finestra nel salotto che era senza maniglia e i materassi dei divani letti che per i miei gusti erano troppo duri.

Location, location, location ... quirky yet spacious apartment in the heart of the old city. Minutes by foot to the Palace Des Papes and even closer to a great selection of bars, cafes and restaurants. Parking just a couple of minutes walk away. Furnishing to match the age of the apartment but fully equipped and Netflix available to catch a late night film if desired. Hosts unobstrusive but very helpful when contacted

The room sleeps 4 but in the one open pan living area (there is a screen to provide some separation). This may not suit all. Some of the bathroom decor starting to show its age and could do with a refresh. Not the most comfortable beds.

L'état de la literie : Le lit est incurvé, trop petit et trop étroit. Le canapé lit est super inconfortable et bien taché. Plus de la moitié des ampoules du lustre étaient HS. idem pour une lampe du plafonnier et pour 2 lampes de table sur 3. Donc trés difficile de travailler sur des dossiers. L'isolation phonique est inexistante: on entend tout des entrées et sorties de l'immeuble et de la rue car le studio se trouve au rez de chaussée. Porte de placard cassée, poubelle de cuisine sans pédale, prises électriques qui sont décolées des supports et ensemble poisseux et pas trés net.
