Apartment in St Denys

It was clean quiet and assessable . Staff were helpful. One occasion I could not access the flat door the manager attended and Changed the battery in the door lock without fuss. Thank you

My deposit of £100 was taken from my account twice. £200 was taken from my account instead of £100. I have informed the landlord and I expect this to be returned to my account very soon. I left the apartment clean tidy as requested.

Nice self contained apartment.

Parking is a bit of a pain in that area, but nothing that can be done about that.

The bedrooms are blissfully quiet.

The price was good and it is handily placed for Southampton.

The whole place was clean, but tatty. The walls were covered in marks, the table had burn marks, the freezer drawer was cracked and useless, the front of the cabinet in the bathroom was only half on. In the bedroom, there is only about a four inch gap on one side of the bed, with the other side up against the wall, which made getting in and out of bed difficult. There are obviously therefore no bedside shelves or cabinets, and the only light switch is by the door. As we both wear glasses, we had to get out of bed, put the glasses across the room, turn the light off then stumble back to bed. There is not a spoon in the place, apart from a serving spoon, which wasn't ideal. The toaster has rust across the top and the bin lid was unattached. There is no parking as a small red car is parked right in the middle. The back gate lock has been adapted so that it never locks. There seem to be nocturnal elephants moving in upstairs, as each evening the front door was wedged open and there was a great deal of going up and down the stairs. The only tv is in the bedroom; it would seem sensible to me to remove the large non-operational clock from the front room and put a tv there.
