Adequate for a visiting football fan. No Major issues.

Having to pay a £100 security deposit which could take up to 10 days to get back. Extremely strong smell of weed from last occupant. Smoke alarm had been covered with a bag too. Shower is a menace!

Great value, well equipped studio

Great facilities packed into a small space. Lots of crockery, pans etc to cook own food. Powerful shower Comfortable bed. Great location for public transport into city centre.

Parking situation down rear access not ideal, however, loads of free roadside parking immediately around the property .

it was bad i can’t lie

nothing really

the bed was uncomfortable there was old rice and food under the bed and there was tampon wrappers in the bathroom and there was a bowl in the cupboard that had ash in it and the room stunk of weed and on the last night the roof started leaking water there was holes in the walls all the paint on the walls was old and scuffed it was very noisy even though it says soundproof i got woke up overnight by noises and the person in room 2 apparently lives there and it mates with the owner and he has kids and they was screaming and crying all the time and there was a cold draft coming from the bathroom witch made our room freezing all the time even if we put the heating on and the room was nothing like the pictures of the room we booked it was very small and over crowded

The property isn’t clean. Hairs on bed and on towel. Made me feel uncomfortable and also the property does not come with the living room as shown in picture. Just bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom is right next to the kitchen which doesn’t make any sense .

Tv didn’t work for open channel so I couldn’t watch anything The duvet has a litter white mark (like the size of a small finger) on the top as it wasn’t being washed properly (or not changed) but due the time and my tiredness I really didn’t care… And the shower area has a pair or gold earrings on the top of the shampoo bottle that is attached on the wall, showing that it wasn’t exactly washed as the earrings wouldn’t be there if it was throwed water to really wash that

Compact but value for money.

Location was absolutely perfect for where we were going (literally the other side of the road). Although small, the apartment was fine for our needs (which was basically a place to stay for the night). I especially liked the value for money.

The only negative was the parking at the back. Access to said space in our car was extremely difficult (anything bigger than a Fiat 500 will struggle - as we did) and manoeuvring into the space was quite a feat. However, luckily a space out the front became available so we parked there.

Everything was old and grubby. The duvet was stained and synthetic. It simply was a case of we came we saw we left. Aware it is budget accommodation but was not right for us.

Basic, functional

Short drive to Southampton dock to get to our booked cruise. Shirt bus journey into Southampton centre.

The property advertises car parking. No way would you park your car down the overgrown, debris/glass, extremely narrow alleyway (photo attached). You can't see out all windows, they are obscured & the bedroom small window doesn't open; there was a fan in the room though; The bedroom was okay, but was a small double bed, with mattress that needs replacing, also small gap at the side to get in and out. The kitchen area is very small with sofa bed, this is at front of property and noisy, you can hear pedestrian crossing sounds. There was no sheet for pull out sofa bed, there was a quilt and pillows stuffed into black bin bags in a wardrobe. We contacted the owners, by the time they replied we'd gone to bed. There were hairs in the shower and on pillowcase for pull out sofa. We noticed a drain smell in the apartment after we got back from being out. (see photos). The property is not in the best of areas, looks rough from the front, there is a boarded up take away next door. We're still waiting for a reply regarding the shower issue. Wouldn't stay here again or recommend.

Could’ve had some shower gel and toiletries in there as they had the dispensers but they were empty. Also parking at the back of the property could do with tidying up and cutting bushes back as not that easy to get down.

Generally all was ok, the owner and grandson were very nice and helpful. A few problems we experienced: we were unable to enter to garden from the carpark as no code was given for the security gate. The room didn't reflect online pictures. We were expecting a lounge area with sofa bed and eating area. Quite misleading and disappointing. Room was extremely hot. On the positive side: the shower was fantastic, great kitchen, door codes worked well but was unsure if others had the same passcodes as front door and apartment door were the same.

It served a purpose and was ok. The price was very reasonable ok for a one night stay as my husband and I was going on a cruise the next day. Mary Fortune.

Tv was in the bedroom and couldn’t work the cooker. Parking was ok for a small car. A larger car would have been an issue. Communication with the host was not quickly received.

Clean apartment in handy location

The apartment was clean. It was very basic and met our needs. The location is close to Portswood which was ideal for moving my daughter into her new university housing. The staff responded promptly to my query during check in and when the plugs tripped. They phoned and resolved the issues efficiently.

The checking in information wasn't all that clear because the Booking.com website provides a pin which caused confusion with the check in pin.

First impressions - parking although available was incredibly difficult to access and use, this wasn't stated. Apartment not as clean as I think it should be, soft furnishings looked grubby, kitchen pans etc needed washing because were visibly dirty. We had stated there were 3 of is on the original booking but the bed settee wasn't made up nor was there bedding anyway for us to do so so we had to message. This was about 7.30pm and it took 90mins for some to arrive. I don't know who was in the rest of the building but it was ridiculously noisy right through until about 1am with stomping down the stairs (right next to the main bedroom) and moving furniture or something above that room. Noting that the rules for the Apartment said to respect the noise curfew!

Don't stay here

Nothing. The place was filthy. The photos advertising the place were simply misleading. I have taken photos of the filth and I will be putting in a complaint.

Residue of drugs in the bedroom which I have photographed. Mold in shower, bedroom and washing machine. Kitchen sponges for cleaning stank and were disgusting. If I hadn't drove for five hours I would have walked out. I messaged the owners as soon as I arrived and still no reply. I have photos to back all this up and I want to speak to somebody.

Very well located for local bars, coffee shops and cafes just over the bridge and short walk away. Furniture and amenities adequate for a one night stay.

The appartment was very grubby. The shower was so unclean around the door that we didn't use it. It's such a shame as the appartment has been well fitted out, but the cleaning really lets it down. The walls were all scuffed and grubby by the entrance and in the bedroom. Black sofa marked too. The owners were thoughtful in their choice of decor but need to sort out their cleaning contract. Parking behind is a very tight squeeze down a narrow entry. No good if you don't have a very small car.

Just dont use Apartment 3

It was handy for where we needed to be...

The parking was awful. We stayed in Apartment number 3. Despite asking several times if there was parking & being assured by the owner that yes there was, albeit on a 1st come, 1st served basis, the actual access to the parking was very difficult. It is accessed down a very narrow & overgrown lane at the back of the property; almost impossible to enter if you have a large car (we had a campervan). There is not enough space for more than 1 car and there is almost no manoeuvrability as there is a brick wall. People in Flat 1 arrived slightly before us in just a car & they said they had difficulty parking. The apartment itself appears initially ok, until you use it: Toilet seat wasn't attached properly & neither was the toilet roll holder, no plug in the sink. Shower leaks like a sieve; despite having the door closed when using, the shower head was reluctant to stay in place and kept falling down, and there was plenty of green grime in the shower door at the bottom. There was a strange, black growth emerging through the flooring next to the toilet. The bed is an uncomfortable double bed which looks like it has been rescued from a scrap heap with dirty material on the sides & fraying material appearing from underneath. I don't think the bedsheet was all that clean as there seemed to be a mark on it. The wardrobe was full of stuff: a stairgate, an iron & ironing board. Whilst it is appreciated that the hosts tried to accommodate every need, I really feel that these items were not required. The curtains are thin and are too small for the window. If you pull them to meet in the middle, you get a large gap down the side. The kitchen: the fridge door should have been cleaned and all the grimy stickers removed. I think all the furniture in this apartment had come from recycling places as none of it was in good condition. The taps in the kitchen were not even fitted correctly as when we went to use it, they wobbled back and forth.

Awful waste of money resulting in a very stressful time could not wait to leave

Overall the place was tatty the bed was old and worn the bedding was cheap and nasty the parking was a joke if you have a large vehicle you will struggle to get in the parking area the access to this is very overgrown and strewn with rubbish Once inside the "apartment " the first thing you notice is there's no seating just a bed a small table with two chairs,the curtains are totally see through, the bathroom is the best room but it still has faults ,the looseat is loose and falling off the paper holder fell off there is no loo brush All in all a tatty place in a tatty area

The bedding was poor quality, the duvet was stained & one of the pillow cases was torn. The bed base looked tatty & stained The table in the bedroom around its edges was in poor condition The walls in the bedroom were scuffed in places. The light switches were marked & we cleaned them & some of the other surfaces before use. The outside of the fridge having stickers on it gave it a tatty appearance. Some of the kitchen/bathroom flooring wasn’t adhering properly with some edges sticking up.

Coded entry to back of property once parked. Smart locks were a challenge but great once you got used to them.

Once you had managed to pass all of the rubbish (mattresses and fencing) in the track behind the property to eventually get to the parking, it was unclear if this was for one vehicle (comfortable) or two (at a very tight squeeze). Also should parking not be available there is no where to park in the adjoining residential streets so parking may be a complete nightmare. Not very clean throughout, damp smell in the bathroom which needed renovating and cleaning, not permitted to eat or drink in the bedroom but the only table was in the bedroom so how that would work I am not sure, sheets visibly stained, bedroom curtains see through, lots of noise late at night and early morning from other two flats in the property. Did not enjoy my stay at all.

Dirty ,uncomfortable damp cold

Dirty bed mattress and pillow so old covered in stains the springs of mattress could be felt stabbing us , bed bugs damp dirty smelly property, my partner was bitten by bed bugs , we checked out after an hour there dirty fridge . Kettle full of lime scale horrendous experience. DO NOT recommend staying

The location.

A lot. A very tired apartment. Dirty dishwashing sponges, dirty mirrors, tired decor, cupboards falling off. Dirty floors, bedding etc. Really not as described! When asked for a refund I was simply told no and now any correspondence is ignored. The disappointing part is this seems to be an ongoing problem with this property, where the property manager doesn't seem to fix anything. Shame.

You have to pay a deposit of £100 pounds but it's not advertised when you book!!! The place is horrendous the parking is ridiculous down and alley way with mattresses disposed of rubbish everywhere and just horrible area.no pics of property on outside and now I know why .we didn't even get out the car to go inside.we just drove of to nearest hotel ..not as advertised and from all reviews I can see why .I will be seeking a full refund for misleading advertising.

Great bathroom but other 2 rooms very small.

Superb modern bathroom immaculately clean.

The bed takes up almost the full size of the back room with a small gap on one side to get in and out as the other side is against the wall. It was very uncomfortable and the headboard creaked every time I moved. My partner had to sleep on the sofa in the main room as the mattress was too uncomfortable. The TV is also in the bedroom which meant we had to climb onto the bed to watch it which felt very claustrophobic. The living area has a large window into the main street which is very busy with traffic and passersby and therefore the blinds had to be kept closed for privacy. As this room incorporated the kitchen, it made the room feel even smaller than it was. I would really like to have given this apartment a higher score as the owners were very nice and allowed us access almost 4 hours early but unfortunately, along with the fabulous bathroom, those were the only positive things I can say. Sorry :(

Location was perfect. Apartment was clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very clean with instant hot water. The patio outside was clean with a nice little seating area and the rear parking was great as the front of the property was on a main road.

There was only one hanger in the wardrobe, it would have been nice to have a couple more. We struggled to enter the door code, it would accept it after a couple of times though. The toaster tripped the electric but we were able to use the grill in the oven which was very clean. There were no spoons in the kitchen though luckily I had brought one with me.

Could've booked a hotel room with breakfast in the city center for less.

The host kept me for 2 hours outside the property in the rain and the HAIL just because I didn't spend extra 5 quid for early check-in, even though the property was empty and ready. When I asked why, they said that they are "a small team with very limited time" and that it's important for them to "not compromise with the cleaning and preparing". Bulls$!*. When I entered the property, the furniture in the bedroom had dust all over, the bathroom was soaking wet and the utensils needed a second cleaning. Also. whoever put that bed in the bedroom was smart enough to put it in such a way that it impossible to use the power outlets.
