Comfy felt homely

A lot of damage too walls and in bathroom also plug socket was damaged and coming off the wall was a significant health and safety issue. Wasn’t too please having too pay a total of £279 too see this

Don't book unless its your only option.

We attended a conference in Southampton - It was close to the venue where the conference was held, so it was convenient for us.

We didn't really have a pleasant stay at all. On arrival, the door to the building code pad wasn't really there, the numbers had been ripped off. We were worried about not being able to insert the code but didn't really had to worry about that: we didn't need a code at all as the door to the building doesn't close at all, which made us feel very insecure. The room is way smaller than it resembles to be in the photos (we suspect the photos actually belong to a couple of different rooms but are shown together). The beds are ridiculously narrow and so close together that the person using the one closest to the wall can only get to their bed walking sideways or crawling from the end of the bed. The kitchen area was greasy and the kettle full of scale. The bathroom door didn't have a handle, so couldn't be closed. The shower stopped working randomly during one of our showers. When we informed the host about this, the response was rude and passive aggressive, suggesting that we hadn't turned it on but, as I said, the shower stopped working mid-shower, so it was definitely on. Someone came to check the next day and apparently everything was working just fine, although that night the shower stopped working again, to the point where we had to go shower to other colleagues' appartment, which is just utterly unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this accommodation to my worst enemies.

The keys were in a lockbox which is appreciated for the security of it. I liked that having my personal door be able to lock helped me feel a bit more at ease.

The fact that the front door was open and wasn’t able to be locked from the inside, nor was I informed prior to that this would be the case. The email stated to ensure that the door be locked from the inside but that wasn’t the case when arriving to the flat. I didn’t feel safe with that. Would have appreciated before informed prior to my arrival. The lack of cleanliness for the flooring, under the bed was very dusty. The unpleasant smell of the flat didn’t help me feel at home or relaxed, it felt embedded in the place and was hard to air out properly throughout the day because the top window was locked.

The person in charge of the flat is not responding or communicating. The shower has been broken and not repaired for five days, and I haven’t been able to take a shower.

Location. It was clean.

Two floor walk up. Front door onto street didn't lock, not secure. Officious message inside the front door about making sure the front door is locked, when the lock doesn't work. Scanty kitchen equipment. Very narrow and soft twin beds. No WiFi until the final evening (of 4)of our stay. Excuses were made about "works in the area", but this seemed unlikely for a weekend, especially because when I asked about the WiFi password upon arrival we were referred to the original booking confirmation six months before. Fortunately I found it on the router. Unfortunately it wasn't connected to the internet until three days later. Contact person unhelpful and defensive.

Disappointed.

Cleanliness - comfy bed

No user instructions. TV not working. Location. Toilet roll holder & bathroom door handles attached & working. Clothes hanging facility not there. Windows wouldn’t close properly & unable to unlock one. Narrow staircase difficult with luggage. Contact phone number “not taking messages” when needed assistance. Overall very disappointing & certainly not “superb” facility - no property name displayed - just street number displayed on narrow front door. I’m not usually a ‘complainer’ but this experience is one I hope not to repeat.

Not supurb at all. Narrow beds, no proper window blinds, failing shower , poor locks

The kitchen was okay. Wifi workedfine.

Bad for sleeping: The mattresses were really narrow, 80 cm at most, and there were no blinds so the east facing room got light before 5 am. Bad for showering. The shower stopped started on irregular basis. Not the hot water, just all water. The lock on bathroom door was missing. My friend locked himself in the bathroom when i was out to the shop. Front door did not lock. Did not work the way was described in check in info. We contacted the number on booking. They wanted us to take photos of the nonworking shower to send these to his contractor.

I would definitely book again, it was a nice place

the hostess was helpful, pleasant and friendly. The rooms are on top of a sports bar so if you fancy a pint you just need to pop downstairs

some of the other residents were young, loud and possibly not from this country, they seemed well established and very comfortable with the place, their behaviour was anti social

Misleading with False Information

I liked the size of the room and that it was centrally with plenty of food places nearby. The hosts at the beginning were really responsive, but that changed over time. There were plenty of cutlery and plates for one person.

First, the room was uneven, which means that there is an inclination towards the bed and you can feel it. Not recommended for someone that has walking or stability problems. Second, the MISLEADING AND FALSE ADVERTISEMENT ABOUT HAVING A LAUNDRY MACHINE AND IRONING FACILITIES. This was literally the reason why I chose this place over others, and it was really annoying when the HOSTS TOOK NO ACCOUNTABILITY, stating that "there were plenty of laundry places around the street". It is not about that, it is about being honest and sadly the hosts were not. And from what I read later, previous reviews of this place state the same. FYI, there are laundry places on the street, but they are not self-serving. The laundry places on the street work from 9-5, which is useless if you are working the same hours. Third, which is also really important, is the LACK OF SECURITY IN THE AREA. What is the point of having a smart lock that does not work in the street? I messaged the hosts, which said that they will check it out. But they never fixed it. Bear in mind that the area is dangerous, and has a pub where every other night there were issues and fights. The fact that the only thing that separated me from the street was my room door, which indeed worked, but the door lock that connected ALL THE FLATS TO THE STREET was not working, is more than not ideal. Fourth, I am STILL WAITING TO GET MY REFUND. They charge you 100 GBP as a refund and mention it will be refunded by up to 7 days. It has been 14 and I'm still waiting. Have called them twice to get information about it, but I'm still waiting. To sum up, I am really disappointed with this place and would not recommend it.

Absolute disaster. No locks working for our suite

No Breakfast. Property located in a slum. Cleaner arrived after we did to start cleaning after previous occupant. Found bedroom door had no handle so cleaner used a black PVC bag to give something to pull on from either side. Floors sloped every which way. Very small space with low qualityfurnishings.

Entry system failed and when returning at 10pm in evening, we couldnèt get in. Phoned police and landlady. Another renter arrived andcouldnèt get in. Landlady phoned another tenant to open door from inside. It took two of them inside 15 mins to open door. Once in, we couldnèt lock door so left open from this point on. Although paid for 2 nights stay including a 100 pound deposit, we left the next morning and moved into a hotel. the front door was left unlocked. We have not received a refund for our deposit nor the unused nightès accomodation.

Nette kleine Wohnung. Alles Nötigste vorhanden. Bett groß und bequem.

Die Lage für mich als alleinreisende Frau hat sich nicht sehr sicher angefühlt. Ein anderer Mieter hat die Haustür ständig aufstehen lassen, die Wohnungstür konnte nicht abgeschlossen werden und war nur durch ins Schloss-fallen geschlossen. Kaution wurde (vielleicht durch kurzfristige Buchung) nicht eingezogen - auch nach Anfrage erhielt ich hierzu keine Infos. Sehr hellhörige Wohnung.

Appartement non sécurisé. Le digicode de l'entrée ne fonctionne pas. Pas d'accès de secours en cas d'incendie. Lieu très bruyant avec le pub. Aucun ventilateur avec la chaleur qui régnait. Un sèche cheveux à se partager entre 3 appartements qu'on a jamais trouvé. Une caution de 100 livres payée mais toujours pas remboursée et je peux encore faire des commentaires. Couette sale, salle de bain exiguë.....

- Bett ist viel zu weich und zu klein. wenn man zu nahe an den Rand kommt, viel man fast heraus, weil das Bett so stark einsackt. - Dusche zu klein. Wir sind beide schlank, aber die Dusche war selbst für uns recht eng. Zudem nervte es, dass das Wasser immer abstellte und man dsnn warten musste, bis es wieder anging. - Türfalle Bad: defekt. Fällt ab. - Haupteingangstüre kann nicht geschlossen werden (trotz riesigem Hinweis in der Beschreibung, dass das unbedingt gemacht werden soll) - WC-Rollenhalter fällt fast ab
