Welcome to family vacation paradise! “In Good Company” is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway with family and friends, and a brand new addition to Beachwalk.
The space features three large floors. The first floor features a "kids room" with its own TV and toys so that little ones can play near by while grown-ups are preparing meals. There is also a living room, dining room, and large kitchen with a 10 ft. island. There is a large screened-in back porch with built-in counter top, eating table and lounge furniture. The back porch also has tons of hooks to hang towels and beach gear to keep it out of your way while you stay.
The second floor features five bedrooms plus a dedicated office. Bedrooms include a primary suite with king bed and its own bathroom, a second bedroom with a king bed, one bedroom with a queen bed, and a bunk room with custom made built-in bunk beds (two sets of twin bunk beds), plus another bedroom with a twin bed, trundle bed and pack and play. There are two additional full bathrooms on the second floor; one with a bathtub and one with a shower. The office will be a great place to conduct work remotely, and we have put in soundproof insulation around the office, so no one will notice you are taking a call from Beachwalk. Lastly, the washer and dryer are on the second floor should you need to do laundry during your stay.
The third floor is where you can take in the best views with tons of light and amazing large windows. This floor features a huge hang out space, a large flat screen TV, comfortable couches, and games. The perfect space for kids to hang out! There are two bedrooms and one full bathroom with a bathtub on the third floor. One bedroom has a queen bed (note: this room is nice and cozy but does not have a window) while the other is a magnificent bunk room that sleeps 10. The room will have custom built-in bunk beds. Two sets of Full over Queen bunks and two sets of Twin over Twin bunks plus a massive closet for luggage. A great room for the kids to sleep together! We've added sound-proof insulation between the third and second floor to minimize footsteps and noise.
The back patio features a wood burning fire pit, perfect for s'mores and lots of laughter! We also have a new propane grill ready to use for your cookouts.
We'll have a golf cart for your use, making it easy to get around Beachwalk and to Lake Michigan for those beach days.
The location is ideal for those who want to explore Michigan City and New Buffalo's many attractions (zoo, Lake Michigan shores and Long Beach, golf). We are just a short drive to great restaurants, shops, and entertainment options.
We provide fresh linens and bath towels. The home will be set up with high-speed Wi-Fi.

Fantastic stay! The house was spacious and perfect for our group of 8 adults and 8 kids. It had everything we needed—kitchenware, toys, beach wagons, and more. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating. We’d definitely stay here again!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the In Good Company house. The home itself is beautiful — modern, open, and thoughtfully designed. We especially appreciated the bedroom layout and how comfortable the beds were. Our kids absolutely loved the third-floor bunk room; it’s perfect for families with children close in age. We also found the second-floor office very convenient.That said, we’re giving this a 4-star review instead of 5 because of a few issues. When we arrived, the house looked spotless at first glance, but the floors were surprisingly dirty. Since we hadn’t been to the beach yet, it was disappointing to find so much sand and dirt right away. We tried to clean using the vacuum and floor cleaner provided, but both were clogged with hair and not functioning properly. As a result, we ended up wearing shoes indoors for the rest of our stay, which is unusual for our family.There were also very few paper towels provided, and we ran out by the second-to-last day.Lastly, the owners mentioned a fruit fly issue ahead of time. I suggested an effective solution of leaving out apple cider vinegar, but it was not done by the cleaning crew. As soon as we arrived, I set some out and the problem began to improve — something that could have easily been addressed before our arrival.We did really love our stay but for the money we spent we didn't expect to have these types of issues.

The house is very well maintained and setup for large families. There were no parts of the house that were broken or in bad shape. It was very clean and well supplied with pots and pans and casserole dishes and serving dishes and eating dishes and glasses and cups and silverware and cooking tools. Bedrooms were good and the bedding was good. Bathrooms were nice and large and accommodated all 17 of us very well. There are some really unique features... like the room that sleeps 12 between 4 bunk beds! The owners were very very responsive and helpful.
