Lakefront Home 8Br 5Bath (Sleeps 24). Unobstructed views of Lake Michigan and a 200 step walk to the best section of Sheridan Beach. Firepit outside (propane), WIFI, Deck with big Weber gas grill, wood-burning fireplace, etc. Lower level (walk-out) just redone with LR, 3BR, new bathroom and front loader laundry. First floor also just redone - new kitchen, bath, and wood floors! Second and third floors both brand new - second floor with four bedrooms and two baths and two of the bedrooms have sliding glass doors to deck facing the lake! Spiral stair to third floor loft/bedroom for lots of kids with sliding glass doors to another huge deck. All floors with large decks with beautiful views of Lake Michigan. Beach is virtually private at this, the far end of Michigan City's public beach. Stand Up Paddle Boards and some Life Vests available for your use.

This is a great place! Being right on the beach is awesome! It was very clean and the kitchen was full of utensils to use! The small drawback is the bedrooms and the walkout floor to the beach are quite small. But that is easily overlooked by the awesomeness of this place.

Felt the property was clean, well appointed, just as we expected. Some exterior lighting on the deck would be helpful. Hard to see the stairs going down. Multiple deck boards broken and a safety hazard on the deck path to the beach. Overall enjoyable.

Great property for our family get together. Easy foot path to the beach and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our group of 5 adults and 8 kids. We appreciated the amount of dishes, silverware, cookware, and utensils available in the kitchen. Check in was simple and property was clean. The spiral staircase was a bit tricky to navigate with luggage, and none of our kids were quite comfortable with climbing it, but I imagine older kids and teens would enjoy it. We would definitely stay again.

This is the perfect house for a large group. We had 16. You walk out the back door to the beach which was pristine and private. We all enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

We've come to love this home and look forward to returning year after year. It is perfect for our family gatherings. The main floor is wide open and leads out to the great deck that overlooks the lake. It's an easy walk to the beach, so everyone is coming and going all day long! The A/C is monster strong and we never run out of hot water. All the appliances work perfectly. The owner is very nice and responds very quickly if I have a question. This is a very joyful house.

We just returned from another wonderful Memorial Day stay, and this house continues to be perfect for our large group—19 of us this year (10 adults and 9 kids). The space is well-equipped for families, with high chairs and other thoughtful items for the little ones, which made things much easier.The beach access truly can’t be beat—just steps away—and the sunsets from the deck are absolutely beautiful. The large table where everyone could sit together and enjoy meals as a group was also a great feature we really appreciated. The beach wagon and beach chairs provided are also super helpful. It’s an older home, but it’s been beautifully updated with plenty of modern amenities. That said, the basement bedrooms can be a bit noisy once the rest of the house is awake. For our group, it wasn’t a major issue, but something to keep in mind if you have light sleepers.Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for making memories, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

The house is amazing! So much space for people to sleep. Everything was clean. The only suggestion that I would have is to have more bar stools to be in the kitchen for people to sit around. I know the island is small but people still always congregate in the kitchen and it would be nice to have more bar stools!

House is beautiful clean and well maintained. Very comfortable bed and furniture, well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels. The beach is absolutely gorgeous. The only thing I would mention is the steps to basement and driveway are quite steep. But over not a big issue. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully return someday!

We had a reunion with friends and stayed at this home for a Notre Dame game. The house and location were perfect! Stunning views, beautiful home and plenty of space for our group of 16. Our property manager answered any questions immediately. I would highly recommend.

This is the second year we have stayed here and it was great just like the first year! The beach has amazing sand and sand bottom in lake and not crowded at all! Lots of beach chairs to use at the house so we didn't have to bring ours. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms so we didn't have any issues with being crowded. It was great to have a second fridge on bottom level too! We will be staying here again!

This was our 4th year enjoying this property. We love the openness of the floor plan since we like to gather in the mornings for our coffee. The multiple floors allow each family to have an area of the house with their own bathroom and bedrooms. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. The house is also well stocked with beach items like chairs, places to wash your feet off, and a lovely wood walk to get to the dune. The walk to the beach was a walk in nature-birds, deer, and rabbits (an eagle in the distance). The beach was clean and big-lots of sand. We love this house and always enjoy our stay.

It doesn't get any better than this. This is our 3rd time staying at this location. I host my siblings and their children and grandchildren. It is perfect for large group dining and great conversation, either on the deck or in the large dining area. Direct access to the lake is the game changer. Most of the fam stay in their own VRBO's but arrive daily for meals and beach. The house is always updated, clean and bright. We never run out of hot water and the A/C is perfect. I hope to come every 4th of July! The kids have a wonderful time reconnecting with their cousins. Thank you for the wonderful memories that we are creating again and again each year.

We came with 20 people ranging in ages from 6-80 years old and every one had an amazing time. The house has a great kitchen with a gas range, 2 refrigerators in the house and a large table enough for all of us to fit. The beach was amazing with gorgeous sunsets and lots of beautiful rocks for the kids and adults to find. The teens loved the paddle boards and the younger kids loved the sand toys. There were also more than enough board games for our late nights away from the beach. Trying to please 20 people is no easy feat but this house really made its mark on all of us and created forever memories. We can’t wait to go back!

My big family and I had a great time here. I love that the property had private access to the beach. Just a short walk over the dune then your at your own private beach. Huge sandy area to play, run, lounge. The sunsets were amazing. The views from the deck were spectacular. The price was reasonable compared to other overpriced properties. All adults on this trip overall the house was as described and Todd was quick to respond to any question we had. The parking is difficult but manageable. The one thing I think needs done is some lighting near the basement door. We did have an AC problem while we were there I called Todd and the next morning the HVAC guy arrived and had it fixed in about 30 minutes. The bedrooms in the basement are pretty dark but do serve as extra sleeping space the other bedrooms are very nice. There was a lot of outdoor space to enjoy and the beach was a short walk over the dune. There were a lot of games to play not a lot of space for dry food items in the kitchen. The bathrooms could use some shelving or hooks for towels. Overall the basement could use some brightening up but the rest of the house was nice. We had a great time visiting the area.
