Great location, great apartment, great service

Washing machine is downstairs in a communal space but no problem

No breakfast went to local bistros for breakfast

The heat in the appartment was unbearable couldn’t open windows so only had the small French door to open in the balcony so sleeping was very uncomfortable the fan found in the cupboard was useless and didn’t do any good other than move hot air around the room

Close to the harbour and all amenities. Very clean.

A little bit dated. Could do with a modern touch.

Excellent location near Poole Quay and handy for attractions, shops, buses etc. Everything within easy walking distance. Check-in instructions were comprehensive and clear and all went smoothly. The bed was comfortable and the wi-fi excellent. The balcony was quite nice but a little table would make it a lot nicer. The parking space was very useful but there was one evening when there wasn't one as it is not a dedicated space (see below). USB slots on the bedside sockets was a nice touch. Communication from Stai was generally very good (again see below).

In the bathroom the Xpelair fan didn't work and nor did one of the toilet flush buttons (but easy enough to flush with t'other). The shower was adequate but the siting of the light was strange such that when looking in the bathroom mirror the light was behind you. This meant that your face was always in the shade. Given that there were no other mirrors this made shaving, make-up etc tricky. A light over/around the mirror would really help. The bedding provided was a big heavy quilt which wasn't appropriate for a heatwave. In the kitchen the biggest surprise was the lack of a microwave. Pans consisted of a wok, a small non-nonstick saucepan (i.e. everything stuck) and a large casserole pan so not the best selection. If self-catering best to take your own pans but be aware it is an induction hob. Utensils were similarly strange - a toffee hammer and 2 corkscrews but no scissors or pizza cutter! The blind on the South facing window could not be raised or lowered and the window behind it only opened a few inches. The fan helped with airflow but still quite warm. There is noise from the speaker outside the Thai restaurant next door and the taxi rank area across the road at night and from the street cleaner before 7:30 in the morning. This might be less with the windows closed but without air-con this isn't really an option - especially in August. The one occasion where we received no response from Stai was when we arrived back around 21:20 to find no parking spaces. Unsure of what to do we parked up against a wall and left notes on our car. Luckily when we got back from the pub one person had gone so we could move the car but would have been quite worried otherwise. No single one of these issues was terrible but there were wuite a few. That said we would happily stay here again if in the area and would now know better what to expect.
