Great apartment with excellent facilities, location and secure, on-site parking

Lovely spacious two bedroom apartment. Clean, comfortable and fully equipped with everything needed, including wine, tea/coffee/biscuits etc. Excellent location on the quay with lots of restaurants and bars, as well as shops and supermarkets, nearby as well as the ferry boat to Brownsea Island. Secure private parking is a real bonus, especially in Poole where free parking is virtually non-existent. The staff at Quay Holidays, agents for the property, are very friendly and helpful. Arrangements before and after stay are very thorough.

As others have commented it is a maze getting to the apartment however the instructions getting from the car park to the apartment from the agent are clear and easy to follow. The concierge also made us aware of a much more direct route to access the apartment when on foot and directly onto the quay which was very helpful.

Overall a pleasant short break.

Went to the letting agent’s office to collect the keys. The location of the property is great.A welcome pack, free toiletries, tea, coffee, biscuits, wine and a well equipped comfortable apartment. Very fast response from the letting agent’s on problems with patio door and a window.

A soiled duvet on the bed was an unwelcome surprise. A long walk from the car park to the apartment up and down in lifts with luggage.

Nice apartment, great location

Well equipped apartment with comfortable bed and good shower. Some wine, tea, coffee, biscuits and crisps provided. Great location on The Quay, 100 yards from where boats go to Brownsea Island and for various boat tours. Handy Tesco express under the building and very close to the town for bigger Sainsbury's and other shops, restaurants etc. Things to do - Would recommend a 'Birds of Poole Harbour' tour (need to book), taking the ferry for a wander round Brownsea Island and a visit to RSPB Arne. 'Oriole on the Quay' and 'Old Custom House' both very good restaurants.

Pillows a bit flat. Noise from the commercial port nearby early on Monday morning (@ 6.30), had not been a problem other days. A grab handle in the shower would be good for those of us less steady on our feet, gives a bit of security. Directions from car park to apartment could have been clearer e.g. 'after exiting the walkway from the car park take the first corridor on the left and follow it to the end to Lift 1, then take the lift up to floor 3'

Exceptional

Good location absolutely spotless clean everything you needed was there even cleaning products. Plenty of tea and coffee even a bottle of wine which was a nice touch .

It was awkward to access from carpark.

Great loation and convenient place to stay.

Picked up the keys from around the corner on our way to the apartment Spacious apartment. Partial view of the quay if you stand on the balcony.

The apartment didn't flow very well and there was still building works going on hence quite noisy. The beds were uncomfortable for me but my husband was okay, they were quite firm and I have a neck problem and the 2 do not go together unfortunately. As with all apartments in Dolphin Quays none have a shower in the 2nd bathroom only a bath so not really up to the modern day requirements. Lifts drive you nuts as they are so slow. Building a bit of a maze and very confusion for first time visitors

OK if you don't mind scaffolding and workmen!!

Location for shopping, restaurants, boat trip excellent. Bit like a maze on arrival but once you got your bearings it was OK.

Unfortunately apartment block surrounded by scaffolding due to replacement of cladding on building. Also Monday morning brought the workmen and noise. Quay Holidays kindly moved us to accommodation within in touch of The Quays.

Lovely apartment in great location.

Modern, clean, comfortable and secure. Own parking space in building.

Only one little thing, the second bathroom had a bath but no shower. After a day on the beach a showers a must for getting rid of sand and it meant the other couple had to use our en-suite which is not ideal. Definetly needs a second shower.
