The Eller Beck

Location, layout, each room had a bathroom, Bedrooms were good size, kitchen and dining room good size (there was 8 of us), lounge lovely area and best of all a juke box. We had 2 in our group who rely on mobility scooters and it was ideal for them, all in all a great 3 days and would definitely recommend and will book again

Nothing we didn't like

Fantastic apartment & location. Well equipped, very clean. Beautifully furnished. Host very responsive. Great base to explore from. Skipton has lots to do & see. Some great places to eat. Can recommend The Wooly Sheep & The Curious Fox were excellent.

The apartment still has a working water wheel inside & when it starts up it's a bit noisy. But great feature. Also we were unaware that the floor above us is an event space. There was a wedding above us on our last day. We came back with headaches & wanted a rest. It was u very noisy, children running up & down & furniture being dragged around. It is pointed out on the booking but I missed it. I would still book again but would arrange to be out all day & evening.

So convenient- absolutely everything we needed. Close to the town and set out well. Duke-box a bonus. Babbling brook lovely to listen to. Working Mill and history fascinating.

Just an FYI upstairs function centre one night we’re dragging tables and chairs up to 11pm and before 8am the next morning… also people from next door gym would frequently park in allotted accommodation car space (definitely needed clearer signage) and was a bit frustrating.

We love The Eller Beck and this has been our third visit. I'm sure we will be back again and again.

It would of been good to have a good sized shoe rack for walking boots. Also, there are only 4 coat pegs. It would have been useful to have a free standing clothes rail to hang coats etc on as there is not place to put them particularly if it is wet. Another set of drying up cloths would be good with more pegs to hang them up. I had to provide the family with a set during their stay.
