Noise and light from street in bedrooms needs addressing.
Location was great, walking distance of castle, canal etc. Cottage was clean well equipped.
Bedrooms very comfortable but had thin curtains and no double glazing ( original windows). Quite a lot of traffic noise in the front bedrooms. Bedrooms would benefit from black out blinds to cut out street lighting/ daylight in summer. Also some information about where to place items for recycling ( which bin).

Well presented & equipped. Clean & comfortable. Prosecco & bread to be had from the bakery were a nice touch.
Just the traffic & home coming reveller noise in the front bedroom kept one guest awake. But guess that can’t be helped.

A handy refuge very close to the centre of Skipton.
The cottage is certainly close to the amenities in the centre of Skipton.
The blind in the back bedroom does not close fully. Skipton's parking limitations make life a little difficult.

Great place to stay to explore Skipton
The cottage is an an ideal location, within a few minutes walk of the centre of Skipton. It is very well equipped, a quaint old cottage with all mod cons. The owner was very helpful and there were nice touches like a complimentary bottle of wine and a fresh loaf from the neighbouring bakery. We were especially grateful for the fans which had been provided in the bedrooms during the recent heatwave, a thoughtful addition.
