Good location, responsive host.

A nice house in a good, quiet location with easy access to amenities. Because I didn't see the wall thermostat, I had problems turning on the heating but my host was responsive and helpful regarding queries.

The house could be lovely but is a little tired and not as clean as I would like. Having to buy toilet roll was unexpected. The sofa in the lounge was not inviting.

SCAMMED OF £76

We never gained admittance to the property although we were there 3 hours in the cold outside.....Told lies about the keys being in the box even though they never were...and I have 2 photos to prove that they were not in the box 2 hours after they were supposed to be...This whole experience was a con ..bad phone messages ...couldnt hear what we said?? rubbish!!! We were told lies from the very beginning about times , cleaners, keys, none of what we were told was true...The fact is they have defrauded us of £76, and given us nothing in return...Wont hold my breath for booking.com to help, even though I have been a good customer... Re your reply...I too have evidence, 2 timed photos, car parking tickets, and a witness, that the keys were not in the box at 3.50..the access time was 2 PM!! We watched your cleaner get in the passenger seat...she never went anywhere near the keybox..You sent the keycode at 3.25...we found the box empty and you know it was...you sent the picture of the keys at 4.36.. 2 and a half hours after access time ! there are several reviews on here stating issues with the keys... We parked within full view of your cottage for almost 3 hours, As I said, I am 82 yrs old and my partner is 70. We waited in the cold for almost 3 hours..We did not have access to the cottage until you sent pictures of the keys at 4.36, by which time we were so cold we had to leave. And I HAVE taken this up with Booking .com, hopefully you will hear from them soon...Meanwhile on Friday I have an appointment with Citizens Advice with a view to taking you to the small claims court, or any other way of obtaining a refund...

Great Location

I can’t believe reviews saying this property was clean,The carpets and sofa was dirty and the beds had definitely not been changed was a terrible smell in all beds of dirty hair and a lot of black hairs were inside covers.As this was a one nights stay the cleaners were clearly not booked to come in.Disgusting Hygiene could not get asleep all night due to the bed smells.

Good location for the New Forest but don’t expect too much.

Location was good as close to The New Forest / Paultons Park

The carpet had not been hoovered - I had to hoover myself due to the amount of hair & dog hair on the carpet. The towels in the spare room were damp - unsure if this is due to not being changed from a previous guest! The tea towel in the kitchen was also dirty. Also very disappointed with the response to reviews on here.. no tea or shower gel as mentioned and the carpet certainly isn’t cleaned in between stays. We understand it isn’t a 5* star luxury stay for the price we paid but we would expect the property to be clean.

Great location. Good facilities. A few small issues that Vanessa immediately attempted to resolve.

I wouldn’t stay here again.

The location was good. Within walking distance to pubs and breakfast. The bed was reasonably comfortable.

The downstairs bathroom wasn’t very clean and the fridge smelled. The couch was extremely uncomfortable. We were not sent a code for the key lockbox and as we were travelling our internet was patchy at best. The phone number given would not connect so we had no way of contacting the host. We finally had to leave and find decent wifi and then come back. Not ideal at all.

Lovely house, perfect location for what we needed and communication with the host was great

Lovely house with 2 spacious bedroom's and living area. Location was excellent within a lovely town, peaceful and perfectly situated for shops and places to eat out I would highly recommend this area and house Parking permit for parking which was brilliant, car park was easily accessible from the house Great host, very friendly and helpful with any questions I had.

Well equipped, good beds and clean apart from rhe sofa.

Well equipped.. lovely touches like Hand soap and plenty of towels and cleaning products including dishwasher tablets was brilliant.

The sofa needs replaced . The springs are gone on one side and it also had a very strange unpleasant smell. Throws did not mask it .We sat on the dining room chairs . Removed a cushion to bolster it and there were loads of crumbs under the the cushion ! Communication prior to check in could be better.. I had to ring owner and felt like I was disturbing her.

Very nice, comfortable stay in the New Forest

We had a lovely stay in this property. It is very well located for trips within the New Forest . The mews house provides ample space and is conveniently located just off the High Street and near to 2 supermarkets, a bakery and Chinese takeaway. Even though it's so close to the High Street is is extremely quiet. We didn't use all the facilities, but it was nice to have such a well equipped kitchen. The parking permit provided for the car park at the back of the property was great as well and it could also be used in various other car parks in the New Forest. Definitely a nice, comfortable property to stay in to explore the local area.

The only thing I could think to add here is that although we didn't need to use the washing machine and presume many other guests won't need to either, is that it is extremely hidden away and hidden by loads of bags with bedding and cleaning equipment.

Beautiful home, right in the centre of town and so affordable! A perfect place to stay!

EVERYTHING! The cottage is absolutely beautiful and lovely and clean, right in the middle of Fordingbridge which was perfect for our visit. The additional extras including TV with additional channels, parking permit for all over the New Forest and all of the cleaning products to help was just amazing. We have already booked for March and have friends booked for May, absolutely wonderful property.

Wonderful property in a fantastic location with a very helpful owner.

Lovely property in a perfect location for our trip. Host was really friendly and helpful when i had questions. Also called me as we had left a charger, so I was able to pop back and collect.

Fab little house, great location

On a beautiful new development, this house is charming and has a brilliant kitchen dining living arrangement, perfect for quality time with family. In the heart of town. Parking was easy enough in the nearby car park.

Gemütliche Wohnung direkt am Nationalpark

Die Wohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Auf dem nahegelegenen Parkplatz kann man kostenlos parken und findet auch immer einen Parkplatz. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und antwortet bei Problemen sehr schnell. Insgesamt ist es eine tolle Wohnung, die wir sehr empfehlen können.

Als wir dort waren war die Waschmaschine kaputt, das war für uns letztendlich aber kein Problem, ansonsten alles top
