Good value for money for a lovely stay.

Very nice property, nice outside seating. Milk and cookies were a life saver after long journey. Bed was very comfortable and the Bee theme was lovely. Dog bowls provided, everything thought of.

We were a bit cold in the evening despite putting heating on, moving thermostat from the bedroom to hallway might help couldn’t get the fire to work.

Great getaway with our dogs

Out of the way, cosy and had everything we required. Poppy the host allows dogs and even left us some goodies on arrival. There was everything we required even little touches like dog bowls and dog shampoo if required. You can enter Hurn forest via the site and have a long walk. We were even able to take the dogs into the facilities including the restaurant.

Nothing to fault, we enjoyed our stay and will return.

One night short break

A lovely, obviously well cared for caravan at Oakdene Forest park, well equipped, comfortable, nice touches like a packet of biscuits on the side and milk in the fridge, comfortable beds,peaceful surroundings, entertainment passes were included so it felt like a proper holiday even though we only booked for one night, we enjoyed the entertainment in the clubhouse, bar prices about the same as pub prices, will return for longer next time!

Extremely clean place ! Such a responsive owner ! They were there every time we asked for something . They even called us beforehand to see if it was all good . Very quiet as well. Highly recommend it !

Had a great time, would recommened to others and def stay again ourselves

Only stayed for the one night, on a 3-day road trip along the Dorset coast. Property was immaculate and had loads of nice little touches that make all the difference (milk in the fridge, biscuits & welcome note), the kids (10/11) loved the bee theme which runs throughout. There were some board games too and some BBQ charcoal either provided or most likely left by the previous occupier. Beds were comfortable and clean. Unfortunately I made the mistake of thinking check out time was 11am, when it was in fact 10am, Poppy was already at the caravan cleaning it for the next guest as we returned from the pool, I felt awful but she was lovely about it and we unpacked our things around her. The comments in guest book left in the caravan speak for themselves, not a bad word written. There is a shop on site, but at a premium cost for the convenience of being local and LIDL just up the road for more supplies if needed. Site has the expected advertised facilities. Pool with waterslide, arcade, evening entertainment, play area, the caravan is situated locally and within a 8-minute walk from most of these. The 'crazy golf' is looking a little tired but it's only £3 per person and this is the site's responsibility, and no reflection on the host's accommodation. Would def stay here again, with the dog this time ! - Thank you Poppy ! x

Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Great communication from the host, and she let us check in earlier than advertised, which was great 👍. Lovely little extra touches like tea, coffee, and biscuits, which was really appreciated. Lovely balcony to sit out in the sunshine.

Quiet and lovely location, perfect for a couple. Would stay again.

Lovely to have biscuits and coffee there as soon as we arrived, great communication with the host. I loved the bee theme and such a quiet location. We had just one night, we had a lovely walk around Hurn forest, a perfect place to chill out, and a really nice caravan.

It was a bit too small for our group, but perfect for a couple. We had Nan, Mum and two nearly 6ft teenagers. I would, however, definitely stay again, and would bring my dog next time as he would love the walk to the Moors River.

Short stay close to airport

We only stayed overnight just to be close to bournemouth airport after we returned our car. Narcissus is small but has everything decorated with bees everything has bees on them so sweet. It was clean and comfortable. Thanks

Peaceful stay

Lovely little caravan in a great peaceful location. Everything we needed for our break. Ate out as only 2 nights so didnt use the kitchen or the shower. Great to have Netflix watched couple of movies, picture great. Good wifi. Very clean apart from the cooker top which we didn't use anyway. Very comfy sofa and beds. Dog friendly and walk in Hurn Forest on the site. Dogs allowed in the bar but nowhere else. Lots for kids to do, swimming, crazy golf, amusements etc. Well stocked shop. Sunday night no food after 6pm so we had takeaway, they dropped at reception. Caravan a 2-3 minute walk from the centre. Had a lovely stay and will be back 😊

The accommodation was fantastic and the location was great. Poppy is a great host and they take care of the accommodation and it’s kitted out with everything you need. My kids loved it!!

The restaurant on site is really below par which is a shame but it’s a separate company from the accommodation we stayed in. Next time we will be bringing our own food to cook in the kitchen.

Perfect last minute getaway with my son 😁

Beautiful location with stunning forest walks, everything you can think of on site including outdoor heated pool. Jacuzzi, steam room sauna and a gym. The caravan was lovely and clean, beds very comfortable, enjoyed breakfast in the sunshine listening to the birds an the balcony. And loved the bee decor throughout 🐝 poppy also left us some milk and cookies which was a lovely touch. we would highly recommend and certainly stay again

A little Gem!

Everything was fantastic - a spotlessly clean modern caravan, very comfortable bed, cooking facilities brilliant- shower and lounge area all in excellent condition. We loved the location of the caravan, great site set just a 2 min walk from the centre of the main reception - but in a secluded quiet private cul-de-sac - literally a 2 min walk to the Hern Forest - cannot recommend this caravan enough! Poppy is a great host - and was very kind and let us into the caravan a bit earlier as all was ready - great communication from the moment we booked! Thank you so much Poppy & Dave - we will be back! xx

We enjoyed having a couple days away wish it was longer , I just loved the theme through out ( even though I’m scared of

Beautiful Caravan lovely and clean, had everything that we needed good not having to bring towels etc , The bee theme was thought a lot of getting everything to match as not the normal white plates cups etc, everything was amazing it reminded me of home with soft blankets at the end of the beds , shower was nice and hot, my granddaughter who is nearly 14yrs and my partner daughter who’s nearly 15yrs said it was fun and munched on the welcome biscuits as soon as we got in the caravan The swimming pool was fab it was not packed so I was able to do lengths and the kids even got me to go on the flume . The location was brilliant as didn’t have far to walk to the inside part. It was also lovely and quiet, Went to McDonalds and Harvester to eat out as the meals on site was a bit pricy. We just couldn’t afford a big holiday abroad and just wanted to take kids somewhere different instead of being sat at home, we wish we could have stayed extra night as we really only had one full day. Hopefully next time we could stay longer and enjoy the club house as only went in there for 45 mins as we had gone out for dinner first, most of the day they were in the pool. I’ve stayed in different caravans through out the years and this has been the best cleanest modern up to date caravan with added things . The decking area was lovely but not being there for long could not take the advantage of sitting out chilling. Would defiantly recommend family and friends to book with you. Do you have larger caravans on this site in case we wanted to bring grandparents . You even catered for dogs with a cupboard with dog bowl , towel etc . We didn’t bring a dog but handy to know if grandparents came with their little dog. Also I loved the gates to the door and to the patio this must be a godsend for people that have toddlers / dogs to keep them safe x Thank you Poppy

There was absolutely nothing that we didn’t like, the only suggestion that I would like to say is there was 4 of us and all the towels and flannels were the same colour, to stay with the bee theme maybe, Black, yellow , grey and the green that was already there would be good, as then we would know who’s towels and flannels were who’s . Another suggestion an airer or line to put out the swimming towels and costumes, as dried to get them dry so they could go swimming again , This is only suggestions as there was NOTHING that we didn’t like.
