Joy Guesthouse Jangchung

The amenities were excellent and complete, including tissues, toothpaste, towels, snacks, and even a luggage scale. There was also an oven, a laundry, and a drying area, all available free of charge. The host was very friendly, communicative, and welcoming. The property also has easy access to both the subway and bus stops. If you just need a place to store your luggage and rest, this room is an excellent choice. The room and bathroom were small, but they were reasonable for the price. I was outside from morning until night. So, small room is not a problem . Very recommended

Super well situated, 2 metro Lines in walking distance, Namsan trails in walking distance with so many options, a lot of restaurants Cafés, quick shops around. Free coffee, tea, biscuits. Towel and toilette paper self service, window in the room and bath room, small roof top terrasse, you can do your own laundry, microwave, small kitchen with plates and mugs.

Stairs are steep. If you are older or have walking problems, ask for bottom rooms. I was fine with the stairs, only suitcase mounting was sportive 😆

Host is very responsive - answers to messages within minutes at any time. Pretty close to metro stations Compact bedroom but comfortable enough. Good price for Seoul.

I didn't have hot water twice during my stay. Each time the host responded quickly and reset the boiler which fixed the issue, but apparently only temporarily. Poor shower drainage and no partition caused the entire bathroom to be flooded after every shower. Really flooded. So flooded that some water even reached the bedroom... Very difficult stairs. No socket near the bed.
