We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. We especially loved the well-equipped kitchen and the screened in porch. Beds were all very comfortable, and there is plenty of space throughout the house for the family to spread out and enjoy. We hope to stay here again!

Our stay was amazing! We had a great time with our whole family - from ages 5 to 75. The lake was so relaxing - there are kayaks, paddle boards, fire pit, everything! The owners were attentive and extremely responsive. I highly, highly recommend this home if you are looking for a family centered, relaxing, fun-filled vacation!

What a lovely place to make memories. We traveled from Ohio and met our sons and their families that traveled from Oregon and North Carolina. We are a family that likes to cook and were more than impressed with the kitchen space. Everything was labeled, there was high end cookware, sharp knives and everything that we could have wanted. The two dishwashers was expecially appreciated. The nine grandchildren aged 7-16 spent most of their days in the water or fishing off the deck. Caught LOTS of fish! The boathouse closet contained lifeguard approve life vests in every size. There were plenty to around. The paddleboards and kayaks got a heavy workout as the days were very warm. Especially appreciate that the host was able to recommend a photographer that created some lovely photo memories for us. Two thumbs up all the way around.

We had another lovely family gathering at Serenity Cove in Lake Anna. We have stayed here before, and find the lake house well suited to our needs. The bedrooms have king beds, and a large open family room and kitchen. The hosts supply an excellent range of paddle boards and kayaks which we enjoy using. They are also very responsive to questions, and quickly answered our few questions during our stay. The house is situated on a pleasant quiet cove that has only one other house and is not subject to many passing boats. Also, a nice spot for bird watchers. During our stay we rented a pontoon boat for three days from Boato which delivered the boat directly to our dock.

New, clean fully equipped home and boathouse. We spent a short time but will definitely rent this again. The bedrooms are spacious, living room and open kitchen plan provide good entertaining space. Basement is furnished and has extra beds for young kids . Ideal for families and group of friends looking for a good getaway for the summer. Property managers are friendly and courteous. Definitely recommend this place .

We enjoyed our long weekend stay at Serenity Cove. The house was comfortable and clean and was appropriately stocked for a vacation rental. We had plenty of space for our group of 14 to spread out and enjoy the house and amenities. Being right on the lake with the boathouse was great even in December, as we still kayaked, fished and the kids jumpedin the lake. Having the firepit, outdoor grill and game room downstairs was great too. It was a great time.

This property, located on a quiet cove of Lake Anna, was absolutely amazing. It was a perfect fit for our 14-member family, ages spanning 5 to 75. The home was furnished in good taste, spacious, and very cozy. What a treat for each adult couple to have a comfortable king size bed and an adjoining private bathroom. The grandchildren slept in the comfy bunk beds on the lower level and surprisingly the activity ensuing from folks playing the various included games did not interfere with their sleeping due to the sound not traveling through the walls. There were also several areas in the home that provided office working space. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate in order for us to use the water toys but the dock provided many hours of fishing memories. We really appreciated the personalized attention provided by the home owners to ensure our family was experiencing a wonderful vacation.

My church recently had a men’s retreat here and it was wonderful!!! The house easily accommodated our 18 men. The open plan in the kitchen and living room made for great bible sessions, as well as meals. They thought about everything with this house. There’s plenty of refrigerators, multiple ovens, multiple dish washers, an amazing gas stove and hood. Our men were well fed both spiritually and physically. The lakefront location was so beautiful. Some of our men enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and playing football. Our first night was spent fellowshipping around the fire pit. The options are limitless with this home. We would love to return next year. We just fear the group of men may increase!

We recently stayed at the lake house on Moody Town Road, and it exceeded all of our expectations! The location is unbeatable—tucked away in a peaceful and quiet area, but still just a short drive to local amenities. The house itself is cozy, spacious, and very well-maintained. The best part of our stay was the beautiful view of the lake right from the back porch. Whether we were enjoying our morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening, the serene water views made everything feel so relaxing. The private dock made it easy for us to enjoy swimming, kayaking, and fishing. The interior of the home is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated, with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, which was perfect for cooking meals, and the living area was great for gathering around the fireplace. Each bedroom was comfortable, and the beds ensured a good night’s sleep. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or a fun-filled family vacation, this lake house has it all. We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lake house! The design of the home was absolutely perfect for accommodating our large group. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked, making it easy to prepare meals for everyone, and the location right on the lake couldn’t have been better. The warm, calm, and quiet waters of the cove were ideal for swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding—everyone in our group had a blast! One of the biggest perks was having access to all the water toys provided by the owners. From kayaks and SUP boards to floats and life jackets, they had everything we needed for a fun day on the water, which saved us a lot of packing and hassle. The house itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and truly felt like a home away from home. The owners were extremely responsive to all our questions and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. We just returned from a lovely stay at Serenity Cove. Everyone agreed this has been our best stay. The house is large, open and well equipped - three full sized refrigerators in the house, one beverage/wine refrigerator in the bar area, and one at the boat house. There is also a good sized pantry so there was plenty of room for our food supplies for the week. From a water sports perspective, the house had four single kayaks, two two-person kayaks and two children's kayaks (a delight for our 5 year old grandchildren). In addition, there were four paddle boards. The cove itself was a special treat. Very quiet with very little intrusion by any other boats. It is also a great spot for bird watching - we saw eagles and osprey catching fish, as well as herons nearby. Although the cove is near the private side (the other side of the dam), the water was very pleasant - often a mixture of warm and cool currents. (Having stayed on the private side before, we find it uncomfortably warm during the summer months.)

We had the best family vacation! The house is just so perfect! The space is amazing, the boat house had everything we needed from paddle boards, kayaks, life vest, floats and plenty of seating for the entire family. The cove was perfect for our family to spend the day in the water. I cannot say enough good about this house, location, and the hosts! This house is awesome! It has everything you could ever need. The kitchen is well appointed. The two refrigerators and dishwashers were clutch! The wine fridge was such an awesome touch. The bedrooms are all great sizes. The lot feels secluded which is awesome. Great outdoor spaces. Covered porches. Can’t say enough great things about this house. Owners were very responsive when we couldn’t find our sheets or towels. We will absolutely be coming back.

We loved this property as soon as we walked in the door!! Spacious, everything new, thoughtful touches, the view, the dock, the games! All this in basically your own private, secluded mini cove! I will definitely be back! Recommend Boato if you want to rent a boat - they were great and reasonably priced.

We had a fantastic time with two of our great family friends. We had a total of 16, 6 adults and 10 kids ranging from 8 to 15. The flow of the house was perfect for large groups but also felt cozy and warm. The layout out on all levels was honestly perfect. Plenty of master bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone! The basement level had its own hangout equipped with a bar, ping pong and basketball. The two rooms in the basement were perfect for our teenagers who wanted there own space. The kitchen and eating areas were perfect as well. Side screened in porch, front porch and an inside table right off the amazing high end kitchen with two fridges and dishwashers. A separate bar area well equipped that dueled as a coffee bar for the mornings. Just a great house! Also the boat dock! Incredibly fun with lots of paddle boards and kayaks. A nice place to hang with friends while enjoying a cold beverage from the dock fridge. The bar area was great to hang play music and cards around. Lots of comfy outdoor seating as well. Lots of fishing happened on that dock. We had just a fantastic time. Lots of memories and we hope to make it back again next year. Thank you for opening up your home.
