Local to the the train station. Really good cafe’s and restaurants are nearby to the stay. Nice tv with apps where can use Netflix and other apps. Heart of shinjiku is a 15 minute walk. Property also has 2 ac machines that were definitely needed. Stove top and washing machine definitely helped with keeping costs down. The staff were extremely responsive and even helped us check in 3 hours early to leave our luggage behind after a stressful trip to shimjiku Definitely a solid place if you are on a budget

Bathroom was not clean and was not comfortable to be in, and the dishes all required washing prior to use. As well as there was garbage still left over from previous stays under neath close to where the dishes are kept. Felt quite cramped with a party of 3.

The accommodation is located in a very quiet area – although the street itself is quite long, this particular part is definitely the calmest 😊. The nearest metro station is about a 3-minute walk away across a pedestrian crossing, which is very convenient. The area is a Korean district, offering many Korean restaurants and local shops. Right next to the entrance, there is a large Matsumoto Kiyoshi drugstore where you can find everything – cosmetics, medicines, and daily necessities, and it is usually not crowded. We really appreciated the communication from the hosts – they sent clear and detailed instructions in advance explaining how everything works, provided precise directions on how to get to the accommodation, and were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Important note for guests with luggage: the elevator is available only from the second floor, which means you need to carry your luggage up the stairs first. The accommodation itself is spacious and well equipped, with two separate rooms – a bedroom and a living room. The bed is on the smaller side. There are two air-conditioning units in the apartment; however, only one functional remote control is available. All in all, the accommodation is in an excellent location, with great accessibility and very good restaurants nearby (we recommend using the Tabelog app). The apartment is spacious, functional, and has the potential to be a very good place to stay.

The bathroom has excellent water pressure, but it lacks a ventilation fan and there is no window to air it out, which has resulted in mold. We recommend removing the bathtub curtain, as it is heavily moldy and unnecessary, and thoroughly removing mold from the door frames and the area around the bathtub before each guest’s stay. We also suggest cleaning the washing machine.
