Really great stay for our first Hotel in Tokyo.
We were able to make the space work with our two suitcases (think suitcase permanently halfway open, normal for Japan affordable hotels).
Beds were the most comfortable of the whole trip (5 Hotels). I really missed it after we left as none were even nearly as comfortable on the rest of the trip.
Quiet area but very short distance on foot to the action. You can hear the street a little bit a night (fire trucks) but it's very muted (cement building). Can't hear the neighbor.

Stayed here for 6 nights in April for the first time. Location is close to Higashi Shinjuku station, 5-10 minutes bus or 15-20 minutes walk to Shinjuku. Very accessible.
The room is decent by Tokyo standards, enough space for 2 medium suitcases stored standing up, and has kettle/fridge provided.
Shower is warm and powerful, very comfortable.
We'll definitely consider Domo again when we return to Tokyo.

The location of this hotel is really convenient — only about a 2-minute walk from Higashi-Shinjuku Station. There are plenty of convenience stores, drugstores, and restaurants nearby, so it’s a great location for exploring Shinjuku.
The room was a decent size, and the staff were generally friendly. However, if you are traveling with a baby or young children, I would not recommend this hotel.
Around midnight during our stay, the fire alarm suddenly went off. There were no hotel staff available to handle the situation, and the alarm continued for about 20 minutes. It was extremely loud and frightened my baby, completely disrupting her sleep for the rest of the night.
The next day, I mentioned the incident to the front desk. They told me that someone had accidentally pushed the fire alarm button and said it was not really the hotel's fault. They also mentioned that the same thing had happened just a few days earlier.
I understand that accidents can happen, and I don't blame the hotel for someone accidentally triggering the alarm. However, what really disappointed me was the lack of response and concern from the hotel staff. They didn't apologize or show much concern about what had happened. Instead, they acted as if it was simply not their problem and there was nothing they could do about it.
For a hotel, especially one that accommodates families, I find this to be a major red flag. An accidental alarm can happen, but how a hotel responds to a problem is what matters.
Families traveling with babies or young children should be aware of this before booking.
