    I had a great stay at Gluo Higashi Shinjuku Hotel. The location is excellent, very close to Higashi-Shinjuku Station with two subway lines (M and F), making it very convenient to travel around Tokyo. The area is quiet but there are many restaurants nearby, including sushi places, izakayas, McDonald’s, and convenience stores. The room is spacious and well equipped with everything we needed, such as a kettle, strong hot shower, air dehumidifier, air conditioning/heating, and a hair dryer. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. When I needed eye drops because of my sensitive eyes, the front desk kindly helped me find the eye drops, which I really appreciated. Another staff member who spoke Chinese also helped us store our luggage when we checked out. Everything was smooth and comfortable during our stay. I would definitely choose this hotel again the next time I visit Tokyo. Thank you! 🙏🏻

    Stayed here for 3 nights in Tokyo recently. Fantastic location 15 minutes from JR line and right next to brown and red line for subway. Easy walk into Shinjuku and great restaurants within walking distance. For the price and nature of Tokyo, I highly recommend, especially with how friendly the staff are. Limited external facilities but everything is very clean and the perfect place to base yourself for each day.

    The location of this hotel was pretty decent. It's about a 2 minute walk from the closest 7-eleven and about a 10 minute walk from golden gai. The staff was very nice and helpful. Just be aware that they don't ship luggage to other hotels. We had to take ours to 7-eleven for that, but the Glou staff was very helpful with explaining everything. We also got a room with a loft so we had to climb up to bed every night and it got pretty hot up there while it was cold downstairs. The bathroom was also very small.
