Great location, comfortable beds and sofas, well-equipped kitchen, easy access to busses and rail. Loved Ambleside as a home base during our Lake District stay.
Wished there was a way to get/return key without going to office. Without a vehicle, it made for a long walk to pick up and drop off the keys while family had to wait with luggage at the bus stop.

The location, cleanliness and comfort of the cottage were excellent. The beds and bathrooms were particularly high quality. The Kitchen was very well equipped to cook also. Everything we could need or want. A great property and will stay again.
The outside of the cottage could do with some attention and initially I was a little concerned as we arrived. There was an old broken down car outside the cottage and the small garden is very overgrown and the window looked dirty. However, upon entering we were delighted as the cottage smelt very clean and looked immaculate. A happy surprise.

Good location
When arrived house was freezing and took several calls to get heating switched on. Difficult to get keys from office, couldn’t park outside the property and car park was a 10 minutes walk away.
