Casa San Domenico Single Room A

The room is comfortable and a good size, located at the tip of Valletta. It has a good shower.

It's on the third floor (no elevator). The mattress has a plastic cover which is uncomfortable. There were quite a few mosquitoes in the room.

Didn't appreciate that kitchen was 3 flights down in basement. No late night snacking, then.

It was nice and cozy. People were always there if you needed them and were doing their best to pleasure you. The place is right next to one of Vallettas most famous streets, and the room gets serviced every day providing clean towels and a well made bed.

Room numbers 7 and 8 (I was in 8) have an issue with a pump constantly working right next to the rooms. It is very noisy and its difficult to sleep if you dont wear earplugs. The room had some mold right under the TV and overall it was not so clean. There were places with a lot of dust like in the top of the chandelier. Room for improvement in cleaning is there for sure. The biggest issue was the AC that for some reason every night it was malfunctioning and could only work in FAN or HEAT mode. This was quite unfortunate as the reception is open until 10pm which means the entire night you will be without AC in a very hot country. I had to reach out to the reception every morning to fix it. But they let me stay 2 more hours in the room before I check out.
