A really super holiday in a charming hotel.

The owner and staff member could not have been more pleasant and helpful. The hotel had been beautifully renovated, but retained its old world charm, which we were looking for. The decoration of the interior was delightful and full of surprises. Excellent breakfast, Secure parking, well worth the extra.

Access to property parking is possible only between 7am to 8:30pm

This accommodation was perfect for a 2 nights stay at Trouville-sur Mer. Close to the fish market and restaurants. The room was big and the bathroom as well. Own parking available which makes a big difference from the hotels who advertise they have a parking but you see that the parking is public and reservation is not possible.

Great reception when we arrived, very charming hotel.

Having no air con, it was extremely hot in our room, had thought there would be A/C or at least ceiling fans, nights sleep was very uncomfortable

We had a wonderful stay at Le Trouville Hôtel de Charme. The location is ideal—just a short walk from the beach and close to shops, restaurants, and the lovely port of Trouville. The room was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated with a cozy, boutique feel. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful from the moment we arrived. You can tell they really care about their guests. A special thank you to Romane for her kindness and thoughtful follow-up after our stay—it truly made a difference. If you’re looking for a quiet, charming place to stay in Trouville with authentic character and great service, this is it. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be back!

Breakfast was everything I needed. Room was quiet with gentle music, service was excellent. The welcome was excellent. The garage carpark was a great plus.

The single room was small and depressing like a shoebox. You could hear every shower, toilet flush in neighbouring rooms. There is no lift and the stairs were curving, steep and dangerous.

The hotel was incredibly well-managed and run. The breakfast was perfect and very good value. Everything was spotlessly clean. Victor, the manager, was welcoming, helpful, and the perfect host. We had a great stay. The room was comfortable and had a balcony offering a fantastic view. The neighborhood was beautiful and cozy, providing a great setting for walks and exploring the local area. Victor was incredibly friendly and helpful, always available to offer advice and ensure a pleasant stay.

Overall I had a great experience at this hotel- it is great value for money.

The breakfast was good- for an extra 10 euros (I believe) Victor would take your order as to what you wanted from the bakery, then he offered fruit, yogurt, and coffee as well. Victor, the host, was very hospitable and genuine.

The shower was fairly small and I would've liked a few more breakfast options like eggs and bacon or sausage.

Very suitable but be aware of the staircase if you are over 70.

Location really good, only a few minutes to the beach on foot and the same to 'local' shops and only a little further to the town centre. The breakfast was as expected, i.e. croissants, bread, jam, fruit and yoghourt plus juice and tea/coffee.

I knew that there wasn't a lift in the hotel but hadn't expected a spiral staircase with a handrail on only one side. I am well over bus pass age and found the stairs scary. The owner changed things round for me and found me a room on the first floor rather than the third floor. Thanks to that I will probably choose Le Trouville again if in that area as the location is excellent.

Delightful

This hotel is being run by a husband and wife team who genuinely want you to have a wonderful stay in their property and to enjoy Trouville. They are both delightful and efficient and thoughtful. I wanted a quiet place to stay with 3 teenagers so we could explore the town. The hotel is charming, within easy walking distance of the the harbor and the shops and the owners show a genuine interest in helping you to have the sort of visit you wish. There was a businesswoman checking in and out at the same time as we were and it was clear that she had been given warm personal advice for her stay, just as we had. The bed was comfy and the shower was small but had good water pressure. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The hotel is simple, efficient and charming.
