The Midtown Cottage- w/ Private Entrance and Views

The hosts were so very friendly and accommodating, and greeted us upon arrival. The room is lovely and was sparkling clean. We enjoyed the coffee and cookies, and the bed was super comfy. The mountain view and sunsets were stunning from the patio. The neighborhood is safe and all neighbors we met were very kind and stopped for a chat. Short distances to shopping, dining, the beach and the mountains. And we were able to park a pickup truck and 10ft trailer in front of their property. Would absolutely book here again if in Santa Cruz.

It's close to the highway, so you hear traffic noise. We turned on the fan to drown out the noise at night and it worked for us. Bring some ear plugs if needed. Wish there were a few more shelves or hooks to hang towels and clothes. Nothing was a deal breaker! We loved our stay.

The place was very clean, with a modern, comfortable feel. We loved the patio, and late accommodations.

Having to come around the side of the house was a little tough, when we arrived after dark. Also, there was no ice, not a big deal, but with hotels you can easily access ice.

Bed, towels & shower were very good.

No place to hang clothes except for hooks on the wall, no hangers available. Space was cramped.

Great location to visit Santa Cruz, stunning view from the balcony and the host that helped out to get back the hat that I forgot
