We had a wonderful time at this charming hilltop property overlooking treetops and the ocean. Even though there was a heatwave, we didn't need air conditioning because the home is built in such a way that the cross ventilation provides a natural AC. The kitchen is stocked with everything you might need. This is a great spot for a couple's getaway with no kids. It's only a 10 minute drive from town but you feel like you're secluded in the woods. We even saw hummingbirds come up to the hummingbird feeder by the window every morning!

What a gem of a vacation rental in the hills of Santa Cruz!Expertly appointed with everything one could need, exceptional views of the ocean and redwoods, surrounding decks, super comfy bed, beautiful decor and artwork, light and breeze filled windows make this home a place you won’t want to leave. The hosts’ attention to details was outstanding! It was like staying in a tree house. This was our second time staying here and we hope we can return. Thank you Tom and Kathy

Beautiful views and lovely place! We enjoyed a restful time and loved seeing and hearing so many birds! Comfortable bed, clean and modern bathroom, and plenty of windows for views and fresh cool air.

Beautiful spot. The nature around us soothed my soul. We saw deer, bobcat, family of quail, roosters, bats and the friendly dog from a neighbor. The place itself was just right, almost, i wished it didnt have the stairs. It was decorated beautifully in a comfortable and sometimes eclectic way that made me smile. The only other drawback was the narrow road to get to the house. It was a little harrowing but i suppose that is the price you pay for the isolation. Thank you for sharing it.
