Peaceful, private, luxurious.

Everything! It was the most beautiful lodge. Alex and Karen went above and beyond as hosts. We’ve already booked to return in may. The bed is really comfy, the lodge was heated perfectly. I honestly can’t fault a thing.

The most perfect and idyllic place

Our stay at the lodge was absolutely incredible from start to finish. We stayed in Caban Jordann and it was so clean and well equipped- it has literally everything you may need from cutlery to spare dog bowls! You would never know that this is a dog friendly lodge because it’s so clean! Karen and Alex greeted us to show us around- what absolutely lovely warm and friendly people they are ☺️ there is a folder with all local activities and amenities which was really helpful. Starlink WiFi, (which we weren’t fussed about using but we know it’s a necessity for some so thought it worth mentioning) The hot tub was so clean, perfect for relaxing with the most beautiful idyllic views. Beds are super comfortable, crisp clean bedding and towels. You can tell that these 2 lodges are a source of income for Karen and Alex as they take such care and pride in maintaining them. Nothing at all like a mainstream hotel (1 out and 1 in)- it is personal, tailored to suit you and I thought it was a lovely little touch to be welcomed with a sign - see pics. Karen also send lots of information about local pubs, walking trails etc in the run up to your stay so it will be easy to create an itinerary if that’s what you prefer. If you have any hesitation about booking, let this review be your sign to just book! You won’t regret it, it’s worth every single penny. We will without doubt be back, but for longer than a weekend. Thankyou so very much to Karen and Alex, we had the most amazing time. Xxx

Perfect getaway in the middle of no were!

The lodge was in great condition! Really comfy beds and the hot tub was amazing! The location is brilliant, away from all the madness city’s! The owners were really welcoming and made us feel comfortable and at ease, thank you!

Amazing family holiday!

The lodge is located in a lovely peaceful area with gorgeous views. You felt secluded, which is what we wanted, but yet the local town was only a 10 minute drive away, so was super convenient. It’s also close to the A5 (15/20 mins) which is great for exploring the north coast. The lodge had everything could you possibly need. We stayed for 11 nights and we usually find we don’t have enough wardrobe space - this lodge has loads and a built in dressing area in the wardrobe was an added bonus! We were very comfortable staying here and would return again. 😊

The place was super clean and really well equipped, it had everything we needed. The hosts were lovely and met us on arrival to show us how to work the hot tub. The lodges are in a fantastic spot also. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Heaven in Mold

Picturesque views with hot tub!

Excellent location, with car parking included right next to the property. Beautiful views of the mountain/hill side. So lovely having a hot tub to relax after a day of walking around the picturesque area. Nice bed, good pressure shower, fully equipped kitchen (with oven/microwave/stove), and working central heating. Highly recommended!

I think the one thing that would have enhanced the experience would have been a BBQ pit! But only being picky...

Nowhere else like it!

Our second time at Arbennig Lodges. It is gorgeous! The hosts are lovely. We had a warm welcome and then left alone to enjoy the beauty of the lodge and the lake in the background. The hosts are only a text away if anything is needed. The lodge was lovely and clean, everything provided, the hottub is ready for use as soon as you get there, the garden area is very private too. Beds very comfortable with clean white sheets and clean towels provided. The WIFI has been upgraded to starlink and is now AMAZING, which made my son very happy! We really love it here, and will be returning soon! Thank you so much for making everything perfect for our stay.

Lovely relaxing lodge with a comforting home feeling and lovely views

Lovely home feeling to the lodge it was clean and spacious, warm and smelt lovely. The kitchen is stocked with everything you’ll need to use if wanting to cook etc. We went to just escape and relax and that’s what we got! Comfortable bed, hot tub was a perfect temperature and was lovely and relaxing of an evening just looking at the view The owner is really lovely and welcoming too Lovely quiet area perfect for a relaxing break. We will definitely be booking again!

A fantastic relaxing getaway

it was very comfortable, with modern facilities in a quiet rural location . The lodge is spotless and very well kept . The jacuzzi is checked every morning while you are there . This place is truly breathtaking.The photos on this site don’t do it justice, it’s a lot better ! The hosts Karen and Alex are very friendly and welcoming, we will be back !
