Modern apt near gardens with large decking area - Vivre Retreats

Great location, quick walk or drive into central Bournemouth. Flat was tidy but in need of a bit of TLC The main bathroom was very large and could fit at least 6 people. Large outdoor area

Potentially haunted as all milk poured into the mugs curdled. Had to scrub 2 or 3 times with hot water to exorcise the tea hating spirit (we assume it was an American spirit)

Plenty of space and clean and tidy.

Only half a toilet roll left for 2 bathrooms. Couldn’t find anymore. Ended up buying some more. Wasn’t a massive problem.

The accommodation was clean and well presented, with thoughtfully done décor. The flat is well located near Branksome Park, which provides a pleasant walk to both the city centre and the beach.

We enjoyed aspects of our stay, but a few practical issues are worth noting. The building name was difficult to see in the dark, and the lighting along the steps to the gate could be improved, particularly for guests with limited mobility. As we visited in winter, the small bedroom felt quite cold, as the radiator was partially obstructed by long curtains. There was also an ongoing unpleasant odour in that bedroom, which seemed to come from the nearby septic tank. Additionally, the freezer was quite iced over due to a broken drawer, and the table stools felt unstable and may need attention.
