28 Piazza is a truly wonderful 2-storey apartment situated in the most perfect of areas in Downalong, just seconds away from St Ives’ award winning and most popular surfing beach of Porthmeor. The property is located so close to the beach and harbour that it was formerly used as a fishing net loft.
Just this year the property has undergone major refurbishment resulting in a very tasteful and welcoming, light and airy interior, incorporating three bedrooms, two bathrooms and beautiful open-plan living/kitchen/dining space.
The location of 28 Piazza is perfect for anyone wishing to explore St Ives on foot. A few seconds one way is private access to the clean golden sands of Porthmeor beach, a couple of minutes the other way is the beautiful harbour. Also just a short stroll away is the bustling town centre, the grassy headland of The Island and the stunning secluded Porthgwidden beach. There are top restaurants, cafes, shops and galleries everywhere you go in St Ives, and did we mention that the St Ives Tate is also just a couple of minutes away!?
The property itself is a 2-storey reverse-level property. Two of the bedrooms (double and bunks) and en-suite shower room are on the entrance level ground floor with one further twin bedroom upstairs. There is a larger bathroom with walk-in shower upstairs along with the lovely and spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living room.
The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, slimline dishwasher, microwave and the all-important Nespresso coffee machine (we even include an initial supply of Nespresso coffee capsules!). For washing facilities there is an on-site launderette.
The living room has two extremely comfortable sofas; perfect for lounging, playing board games or relaxing watching a film on the Smart TV. The dining table comfortably seats six.
Up the steps opposite the entrance door you will find a ‘viewing platform’ with stunning views overlooking Porthmeor beach.
Offloading your car at 28 Piazza is easy right next to the property. The closest parking is at nearby Barnoon or Island car parks just a few minutes walk away from where you can purchase a Rover ticket, a weekly parking ticket that enables you to park in any of St Ives’ main car parks.
