terrible, uncomfortable and unfair

there was no breakfast and location was in dodgy neighbourhood

host not sure deliberately or not hid a lot of flaws the property had - living room light never working which she didn't seem bother to fix, broken toaster that was a health hazard, terrace door in bedroom not closing properly so it felt unsafe as if I was exposed to the street so sleep was an issue, poop on sheets the moment I checked in, shower broken too which took 10 days for them to fix after a lot of persuasion from me, host was blunt not helpful and also asked for copy of my personal details via whatsapp which is against booking's policy and also tried to make me pay extra outside the platform

Lovely cosy room. Everywhere was very clean and tidy. Amenities were to were a high quality. The shower room especially. Also very helpful staff, answered questions I had very quickly.

Easy to find.

Neighbourhood was awful, like skidrow in LA. Suspicious stains in the room. Not sure the aesthetic of jumping off your bed, walking out through patio doors onto the main road works as well.

The room we had was at the front of the house with doors that opened to the outside of the house. The room was clean and well kept.

There is only 1 shared bathroom, and it is located upstairs, I felt that could have disturbed other guests by using the toilet during the night.

Overall I was pretty impressed.

Very clean environment cleaner than some hotels. Mostly quiet. Was nice to have access to a kitchen and a fridge. I was able to cook a breakfast on the last morning and I used kitchen utensils which were provided. The shops were not a long walk and they were near the station and a bus stop leading into town centre of Southampton.

The stairs were very creaky . Nit really too much of an issue.

Not as close to the port for cruise ships

Small room in a rehabbed older house that has 5 bedrooms, it was clean. Access to kitchen use.

No house number, needed to wait some time to get the code and I was to check in within 2 hours. Price went up for 17 Eng pounds from morning to late afternoon, a bit overpriced for the room with shared bath.
