Perfect home from home

Fantastic home for home while my family and I were in Inverness for the Lock Ness marathon. Donna and Tom have thought of everything you might forget to make your stay as stress free as possible. Honestly, one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed and I loved all the wee Scottish touches. It was the icing on the cake for marathon weekend having somewhere so lovely to stay. Really quite area, yet within walking distance to town. Wee gem of a place and would most definitely book again if we're ever back in Inverness.

Good place good location

There was fresh bread and milk and eggs and orange juice in the fridge for us. There was also res & coffee and sugar. Nice place close to city centre. Very friendly people. Donna & Tom are lovely..

Awesome host and a great value for this convenient apartment

The property is just as described, newer furnishings, with a well-stocked variety of extra amenities like eggs, bread, tea, milk, juice, laundry detergent, toiletries, etc. This place is a great value and less than a mile walk to the city center or a cheap £6 taxi to and from the center. Even the taxi all way to Loch Ness was only £30. Our host was soooooooo incredibly generous, when I asked if there was a "luggage hold" nearby, they offered to hold my luggage in their car since they had guests arriving right after us and even offered to give us a ride to the airport! Who does that? Only the Scotts are that freaking generous. We opted not to bother our host and to check our bags at the train station which is super close to the property as well.

Scotland was having a heat wave when we were there and there is ZERO air conditioning in the city as a whole, so it was a little warm at night. The windows barely pop open at the bottom for less than a couple of inches of air. I am sure this only matters the 2 days a year in Scotland that it is this hot. The apartment building is a little more dated than it appears from the photos since our host has done a great job with updated furnishings, but the floor does squeak. Lastly, the shower is in a tub on a platform which made it pretty difficult for my 75-year-old mother to get in and out of. Call me a bad daughter because I didn't realize this is an issue for seniors.

Gorgeous and comfortable house with all amenities

The house was really tastefully decorated and was very beautiful. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything that you may require for the stay. It was really thoughtful to stock the fridge with marmalades , milk etc. The bedroom mattress and bedding were very comfortable. Also loved the fact that there was not just a hair dryer but also a hair straightener to use! Overall a fantastic experience

This is a beautiful flat in a lovely neighborhood. It is well kept and a great central point for all our adventures. The hosts are very kind. Excellent property.

Bliss

The house was beautiful it had everything you needed. It's only a 15 min walk in to town. 8 mins by car or taxi. Lovely quiet area. Hosts were there to help if you needed anything. I would highly recommend staying here.

Awesome peaceful stay, just near the town centre.

I loved the location where the accomodation was. It is in a peaceful sub-urbs of Inverness. The town centre is just 4 mins away by drive or 10-12 mins by walking. Also, there is a definite car parking space for you. I loved the Nessie decorative thing next to the TV. The flat is beautiful and it has nearly got every essential thing you need such as hair dryer, ironing, extra beddings, toilet papers, teas, coffees, sugar! Overall, it was a great stay. Also, our host let us stay an extra hour after checking out. Thank youu.🥰 P.S. I loved your neughbour's cat. So gentle she was!

Let's not say I don't like these things, but here are some things I would like to mention or can be improved! 1. The water force of the shower was low even setting it in high option or maybe we couldn't figure it out. 2. I had to buy a bath plug for the bathtub. I could not find it. One can get in BnQ nearby in the plumbing section aisle 38. Yes, I remember. XD 3. ( Not a thing to dislike, but info for the next guests) Make sure you guys check the drawers in the bathroom before buying anything for you. As they have so many things there already! Whereas in the kitchen, you gotta buy your spices, condiments, and oil, if you are cooking. There is salt and pepper though! Otherwise, perfect!!

Lovely accommodation in a lovely city.

Lovely quiet location. A pleasant 15 minute walk into Inverness city centre. The flat was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything that is needed.

The bed was comfortable but a bit soft for my liking (just my personal preference). I wanted to have a bath but couldn’t find the plug (had a shower instead which was completely fine) and the allocated parking space was a bit tight (but there was visitors spaces that I could use instead) These are very minor points, overall it was great and I would recommend this accommodation and would 100% book again if I go back to Inverness.

A lovely place to stay, we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Location was perfect. An efficient and easy bus route into the city centre was only a five minute walk away from the property. The private parking was a huge bonus. The property was very clean, comfortable and ideal for the two of us. The owners had thoughtfully provided some groceries for us on arrival, the kitchen was well equipped, and although I did initially have a few questions regarding recycling arrangements, the owners were quick and obliging to answer.

This isn't a criticism but it would be helpful for future guests if you would pehaps include a bit more information in your guest info file regarding recycling, rubbish removal, as in our experience, the different colour bins and what goes in them does differ from council to council.

Home was neat and clean. Hosts were lovely and accommodating to early check in. Beds and pillows comfy. Everything was perfect. Easy walk to bus stop to get into town. I do wish the busses ran more frequently.
