Cathedral House Orvieto

We loved this apartment. It is in the best location right in the centre of Orvieto with fantastic views from all the windows of either the Cathedral or the clock tower. I remember reading a previous review saying it was on the prettiest street and I would agree - it’s in one of the most picturesque lanes in Orvieto. The apartment is bright and spacious and everything is stylishly decorated, very well maintained and in good working order. It was immaculately clean. The bed is comfortable and the shower is powerful. It is generally a very comfortable apartment and such a lovely place to stay in. The hosts communicated well and gave us all the information we needed in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this apartment and would love to stay here again.

Nothing. One small thing that it would benefit from is a larger clothes drying rack and I also found the washing machine a bit temperamental - but that might just have been me. Both of these things are tiny details in what is otherwise a fantastic apartment.

This charming one-bedroom apartment in the heart of Orvieto is the perfect base for exploring the city. The location could not be better — Tucked away on a small street just steps from the Duomo, wonderful restaurants, cozy wine bars, and great shopping. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable, with a large living area and well-equipped kitchen that made it easy to relax and feel at home. The shower is great, which can always be a challenge in these apartments in ancient buildings. Everything was clean and well maintained. Getting the key was easy. Francesca met us at the bus stop by the Duomo and brought us up to this lovely apartment. One of the highlights is the incredible view of the Duomo on one side and Torre del Moro on the other. Waking up to those iconic views and being able to walk everywhere made our time in Orvieto unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the charm, history, and atmosphere of this beautiful town.

There are a lot of stairs, so beware if you have mobility issues. The apartment is on the top floor, so it stands to reason that there is quite a climb. Despite offering a washing machine there is no drying rack. I have seen quite a number of reviews mention this. You would think they would provide one.
