Cozy attic finely renovated and equipped with all comforts. Bright, with a splendid view of the Umbrian hills, it is on the second and last floor of a typical tuff building in the district of San Francesco, the highest point of Orvieto. In a quiet location, a few steps from the Cathedral and the places of greatest historical and artistic interest, it is the ideal starting point to visit this splendid Etruscan town.

The White House is charming, beautifully decorated, and has the amenities it promises. Luigi was the most accommodating host and even provided us transportation to the train station! He is very helpful and knows what to recommend in the local area. Very comfortable, even if we did have to climb stairs! Luigi even helped with luggage!

Perfect location with 5 minute walk to the main area and the best bakery!We loved Orvieto and will strongly recommend the White House. As others stated there are steps so if that’s an issue consider. Amazing space and gracious hosts - we were picked up after arriving by train by Luigi and Emanuela, who gave us a quick tour of town and oriented us to the apartment. The place is so lovely - beautifully decorated and immaculate. Truly one of our best rental experiences ever. Nothing to critique or complain about here. Orvieto is a charming town and this apartment is the best place to stay. Book it!

If you are looking for a beautiful apartment for two people, check out the White House in Orvieto, Italy. Luigi is the perfect host who will provide pick up for you at a nearby parking garage as he did for us. The apartment is within a few minutes walk from the main streets in Orvieto and close to the cathedral, the underground, restaurants, and shops. It is clean and and well stocked with beautiful dishes and cutlery. The king bed is comfortable and the linens pristine. A library with many books is available. Luigi and Emmanuela took good care of us and provided an excellent map and brochures for the attractions. Thank you, Luigi, for providing my husband and me with a beautiful, clean, and safe lodging in Ovieto. We loved it and hope to stay with you again! Note: The apartment is located on the third floor and has 39 steps up. That did not matter to us, but if you are physically challenged, it would be difficult.

Probably one of our most favourite properties. Stunning, spacious, well decorated apartment with the most gracious host in the heart of beautiful Orvieto. Just a short walk to to Duomo and the main pedestrian street in town. Our host was charming and the extra touches in this beautiful apartment more than made up for the 38 steps to reach the top. This apartment is well-furnished on a completely quiet street just a few blocks away from the main shopping area and the stunning Duomo and museums. The gracious hosts offered recommendations for good food and oriented us to town with a good map. The stairs added to our fitness.

We traveled to six different locations during our tour of Italy and Orvieto was a favorite. The town is so beautiful, historic, and fun. Luigi was a very welcoming and friendly host and his apartment was perfectly located and appointed. We highly recommend it! We rented bikes from CicloStile, a local bike shop and had one of our best experiences of the trip biking to and enjoying Civita, another amazing old "hill town" about 14 miles away from Orvieto.

The apartment is really nice, spacious, with a nice bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, and nicely decorated. It's quiet and still close to nice restaurants (recommend Il Malandrino) and the center of town. Luigi and Tania picked us up from the car park and drove us to the apartment and were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

This reservation was the best I've had in my 2 1/2 month stay in Italy. The apartment is better than advertised, very clean, all the amenities, and the hosts were excellent. They picked my up from the train station, drove me to the apartment, showed me everything, and were available to me immediately if I had further questions. The bed was very comfortable, linens very nice. Large lovely shower, and a very comfortable living and dining room. I can't say enough about how nice the apartment was and how Luigi and Tania served as excellent hosts. Highly recomment.

This property is amazing, the pictures do not do it justice! The apt is decorated with such Italian style and so many fun details! The host is amazing with information on the town and favorite restaurants. The property is kept up impeccably. We stayed 6 days and Luigi made arrangements to come in midway to cleans and change out towels. The town of Orvieto is an amazing place to visit, so quant, so many restaurants, we felt so at home at this property and in the city. Highly recommend this property on a trip to Orvieto.

We enjoyed everything about our stay at the White House. Luigi is a kind, thoughtful and attentive host. The apartment is immaculately clean and very comfortable. It’s located on a quiet street that is only a few minutes pleasant walk from great restaurants, shopping and all the “must see” sites in Orvieto. On the one night we decided to stay in and make dinner, we found the kitchen to be very well equipped and conveniently organized. Absolutely stunning, clean, bright and well equipped. Located on the 3rd floor, no elevator. We arrived by automobile and Luigi and his assistant met us at the parking garage, led us to our reserved spot, loaded our luggage into his vehicle and drove us directly to the White House. They carried our luggage for us, explained everything we needed to know about the apartment and Orvieto, and even suggested restaurants, sites, and a grocery store. You do not need a car in Orvieto, everything is walkable. Thank you Luigi for your hospitality and for providing such a beautiful, comfortable apartment on a quiet street, close to the center of town. If we ever get back to Orvieto, we will definitely stay at The White House again,

Our hosts were great, picked us up with our luggage from the parking lot and had all the brochures for our stay laid out in the apartment. They gave us a map and oriented us to this beautiful city. The apartment is very comfortable for the 2 of us, the shower was great and the location terrific to access most areas of the city. Everything is in walking distance but you have to like to walk since many of the streets are too narrow for vehicles. We left our car at the parking lot and took it out once during our stay and then at the end drove to within a block of the apartment to load our luggage. Can't say enough about Luigi and Emanuela who made it very easy for these 2 experienced travelers.

We enjoyed our stay at the White House with Luigi as host very much. I cannot say enough about his hospitality and the apartment. Pros: Excellent host. Luigi went out of his way to make us feel at home. He arranged to pick us up and drop us off at the car park and was prompt in his responses to questions. Check in was exceptional with excellent explanations upon arrival. Clean. The White House is exceptionally clean and well organized. We appreciated the large shower in the bathroom. Free parking. Comfortable beds. Cons: None. Considerations: The apartment is on the 2nd floor (3rd for US) with two flights of steps. This may be a challenge for older guests. After climbing so many towers in Italy, it was not a problem for us. I would have no hesitation in renting this apartment again in beautiful Orvieto.

Luigi's home seems to be recently renovated. It's spotless and features the art of local artisans. Luigi and his English speaking assistant, Manuela, made the check-in process a snap. They even picked us up at the train station! We plan on returning very soon for another great visit.
